Barrel House Z is one of the best breweries around! Creative, welcoming, and always doing something new. Unlike a lot of places that stick to just IPAs, BHZ experiments with everything from beer to hard seltzers. They just released their first hard ginger beer today and it's absolutely amazing — refreshing with the perfect kick of ginger. The Bluest Sky is one of their long-timers but absolutely my favorite beer and their Mojito Hard Seltzer could fool me that it’s not a real mojito.
They recently added a full kitchen too! My husband is obsessed with the hot dogs, and I might have an addiction to their pretzel bites. Great combo with whatever you're drinking.
Everyone here is super friendly. Russ, the founder and a brewer, and Brian, the general manager, make you feel super welcome. Whether you're a craft beer nerd or just stopping by for a casual drink, Barrel House Z is a must-visit.

We visit the Boston area to see family at least once a year. We really enjoy checking out breweries in the area. This was our first visit to the Barrel House Z although our family comes here often. First and foremost the beer is great. What we loved even more was the environment in which we got to enjoy are beverages. There were games for all ages and plenty of space to hang out. The staff is friendly, and accommodating. Extra shout out to the awesome bartender who let our daughters trade out their ducks from the claw machine for the bartenders.😀

Great beers, friendly staff, fun location. They have art for sale on the walls, which is cool. They’re queer friendly, which is friggin awesome. And the Plymouth Punk Rock Market they host is a blast. Definitely a great brewery and one of my favorites.

We had an event at Barrel House Z. It was lots of fun. Being a brewery, it's hard to be gluten-free here. The only real option was a can of sparkling water. We had fun at the event though.

BHZ is one of our favorite local breweries, so we were excited to host a gathering there the day after our wedding. We were so happy with how everything went! Corey was super helpful leading up to the event, and he and Elise were awesome on the day. The space was perfect and it was a huge bonus that we could bring in our own food and non-alcoholic drinks. We would definitely host another event with them in the future!
