We were regulars at this establishment but our recent experience left us wondering if we need to look for another Indian restaurant. We got takeout on 11/26 which we had the next day. I don't recall if it was the chana marsala or the veg curry, but one of those dishes was very oily. Both my wife and I felt bloated and decided to toss out the whole order of Bombay Tandoori Wings, Goat Vindaloo, Mixed Vegetables Curry, Double Tadka Dal, Matar Paneer and Chana Marsala. $112.86 worth of food went in the trash rather than risk any stomach illness.
Dining at Turmeric House was an excellent experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a balance of modern touches and traditional charm that immediately set the tone for a memorable meal.
Service was attentive yet unobtrusive—the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to offer recommendations without being overbearing. My server ensured everything flowed smoothly, from seating to the final check, which made the evening feel effortless.
The food itself was outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, with spices that were vibrant but well-balanced. The menu offered a wide range of options, and everything I tried—from appetizers to mains—was fresh, authentic, and thoughtfully prepared. Portions were generous without sacrificing quality.
What stood out most was the consistency: every element of the experience, from the ambiance to the service to the cuisine, reflected care and pride. Turmeric House is clearly committed to delivering both authenticity and hospitality.
Overall, this restaurant exceeded expectations and is a place I would gladly return to and recommend to others seeking excellent Indian cuisine.

Mostly I like turmeric’s all dishes except this biryani, I ordered chicken Biryani but they sent me tamarind rice with chicken. I like it as a chicken tamarind rice.

The lunch specials are a great deal! So much better than buffets. Everything is tasty and the service is friendly, attentive, and swift. Don't forget the garlic naan!

Ordered Aloo Partha. Size was enormous. Enough for 2 to share. Flavor was a bit bland. Salt and cumin only. Could have been slightly crispier. Would have enjoyed it more if they would have served it with chutneys or achar/ pickles

SO good. Much better than Sher a Punjab. Much much. They don’t mess up your order like Sher a Punjab. 4 stars because they are very very pricey and very slowwwww some days
Everything is amazing 🤩 I've veered from my usual mango lassi and tried the seasonal lassi and it was great! You can't go wrong with garlic naan. I also get shrimp or chicken tandoori and sometimes the chow mein. Everything I've tried, whether mentioned specifically or not was delicious 😋.

It’s So good
Always a treat! The flavors, aroma’s, presentation and taste of this food never disappoints. I wanted to update my previous review now that a couple of years have passed because Tumeric House only gets better with age! The quality of the food for the price and the superb service is beyond imaginable in today’s world of dining out. If you have never explored the culinary experience of Indian cuisine, this is the very very best of the crop and you should not leave this earth without allowing your senses the opportunity to bask in pure joy. Thanks you guys for making us feel like family.
Frank and Beth appreciate you❤️

not as expected too sweet even for spicy food.
Delicious allergen friendly Indian restaurant!
I first came across Turmeric House from their location at South Shore Plaza. I was impressed that the person at the register warned me about certain dishes containing nuts without me even asking.
My partner and I love South Asian food, but he has a tree nut allergy, and we've had bad luck with restaurants having cross contamination issues from cashews and cashew butter even when we inform them, so we had to avoid eating it for awhile for his safety.
Since I got such a good impression from the SSP location, I wanted to check out the Weymouth one with him and we're so glad we did. They seem to take allergen concerns very seriously, conveniently marking them on every dish.
My partner had no issues here. The food was delicious! The waitstaff were super friendly too, and the ambience and decor were pleasing. No loud music, great atmosphere.
Needless to say, we will definitely be coming back!

We were at your Plymouth location last night and to say it was amazing is an understatement!!! The food was so fresh and flavorful! The dumplings were very light, we ate all 10 of them! The paneer was perfect and the naan was light yet crispy. Pravin was so knowledgeable and the best company. If we are ever in town again, we will definitely be visiting! 10 out of 10!!
