Lights a little bright. Bar area busy. We chose a romantic high table near the fireplace which was private enough. Reasonable price last time i ate there in 2015.

Chicken parm is to die for ! Also can recommend the tavern burger ? ? Jackson square tavern is one of those hidden gems in Weymouth. Lovely little bar that serves great food & drinks with a warm friendly atmosphere. Joe the owner is a great host . ?
Fresh delicious food at reasonable prices and they know how to make a drink everything is top notch.

The steak tips were below average. Two of us had them, and both felt they were dry and overcooked. However, others at the table enjoyed their meals (haddock special, chicken marsala, shrimp scampi). The reason for the 3 stars was the service. The server kept telling us they would be back, but never did, and it was a struggle to get a second drink or even put in an appetizer in a reasonable amount of time. While I suspect it was due to the server being busy, as there were only 2 of them, she never acknowledged or apologized for not returning. Sometimes, there isn't anything that can be done, but acknowledging the delay, giving a reason, and/or giving an apology would have gone a long way, as we wouldn't have been left guessing why.

Couldn't love this place more! I attended a 70th birthday party at JST and I felt like I was at a friend's house! The service was nothing short of exemplary and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy. The food is amazing. You HAVE to try the Garlic Parmesan boneless wings. OH MY GOD Can't wait to go back!

I attended a 70th birthday party at JST. I can't say enough about it! I felt like I was at a friend's house! The service was nothing short of exemplary! The staff went WAY out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! The food was DELICIOUS! You HAVE to try the Garlic Parmesan boneless wings...Oh. My. God. I can't wait to go back!
