McSwiggans Pub and Restaurant

Always great food! staff is usually good as well 👍 Music generally waaay too loud 😓 makes it hard to enjoy your meal, that's the only real downfall.

Me going here for about a year-and-a-half now they never fail. Food is always fresh in good and hot. I always eat at the bar in the bus service is great. And they have my favorite peanut butter whiskey. Clean fast good service. Highly recommend.

Very nice place good food and the bartender was so nice he gave me a free piece of cheese cake.

The staff was super engrained into my soul now just how real this place is and everyone who works there. Thank you so much for letting my family have my dad's celebration of life there 🥹

I recently tried the new McSwiggans for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised! The experience was completely different and far better than before. I had the pomegranate lemon drop, which was honestly the best I've ever tasted. Their menu is impressive, and I also enjoyed one of their specials, the chicken pot pie. The atmosphere, staff, and decor are warm and inviting. I highly recommend giving it a try—it's a significant improvement from the old place. Great drinks, amazing staff, and quality food!!

They were horribly short staffed! They had one bartender/ waitress on and she was not equipped to manage the number of people that came in to the bar area.she told us not to order food yet because there were people ahead of us then promptly put in food orders for those sitting at the bar that arrived an hour after us. The service will likely make us not return! Shame on the managers/ owner for putting her know that position!

First off, what a great name! The food and people are great. They know how to pour a proper pint. It's an Irish Pub themed restaurant with a family atmosphere. If you are nearby, I highly recommend stopping in.

What the hell was I served? Ordered steak tips *med well* ...mashed potatoes...mixed veggies.
What I got...was charcoal briquettes...some pieces were to hard to cut....the mashed potatoes (?) Were also a mystery of what the heck did they put in them(?)...who CAN'T make mashed potatoes?????‍♀️. Mixed veggies...we're some mushy frozen things also seasoned with that mashed potatoe stuff.
My husband's turkey dinner(?) Again another mystery of ...what the heck is it?
We now call it McPukins.
Why don't I just ask for the manager some of you might be thinking?
Because I want to be able to give an honest review.
So my loss is your gain...you're welcome ?

Good dining experience. Tonight's special was Mahi Mahi Tacos which were excellent and of course the McSwiggan Burger is always grand. Good food prices and the Best prices and selection of whiskeys in Weymouth!
