From outside looked like the place was closed and inside was poorly lit. Hard to see what they have to offer for baked goods since everything is hidden behind a cloudy plexiglass barrier. They could definitely improve on their display. Service was slow, but staff was friendly. Cupcakes were either poorly baked or stale. My kids threw them away.

I really want to like this place because it’s local, but we just walked out with two of the most stale cupcakes we’ve ever eaten. These should not have been on display, and when they were put in the container, the service worker should have realized that they were nearly as hard as rocks just by handing them.
The chocolate peanut butter fooled me, thinking it could have been that firm because of a denser cupcake…but that was not the case. The peanut butter frosting tasted of soap. These cupcakes were appalling.

Took my grandson here last week for an ice cream. The worker was super nice and the regular size ice cream (brownie batter) in a waffle cone was very reasonably priced! Will be back soon!
Kid-friendliness: The worker was very kind and let my grandson take his time choosing an ice cream flavor. Which took a couple of minutes! Tough decision!

Over priced, pastry's are stale, bland food, and just ok coffee. There's usually only one employee doing their best to run the place in the morning so be prepared to wait if there's a line ahead of you. The one time I got icecream a couple weeks ago was a total miss as well. I have been going here often over the past year hoping to see improvement as it's local for me but unfortunately wont be back.
Great place! Their Oreo iced coffee is one of my favorite drinks in the area. They also always have fun new foods and desserts to try. Plus, they are one of the few places that serves ice cream. Would definitely recommend.

This is my first time at the Merry Cafe and I ordered a caramel latte. It tasted better than the DD and SB - very yummy! The place is open and has a section with toys and books in case you come with your little one. It also has a couple outside tables with umbrellas. A great meetup spot for those in the neighborhood.
