This is my favorite pizza place in the area. I really think they have the best quality. It's a bit pricey, but obviously you get what you pay for. I also love that they're a bakery and so you have your choice of any dessert you want (I have a sweet tooth 🤭). The staff is always polite as well, two thumbs up👍🏽👍🏽

Montilio’s Bakery — South Weymouth, MA
This one hurts to write because this used to be my go-to spot for fresh pastries. Before Montilio’s took over, the bakery was a solid 5 out of 5—everything tasted homemade, you could smell the butter and sugar the second you walked in, and every bite felt like it was made with care.
Now, it’s just not the same. The baked goods look nice, but they don’t taste fresh. You can tell most of it comes from a central kitchen and not from ovens in the back like before. The texture and flavor feel mass-produced, not crafted. There’s no depth, no love in it anymore—just product.
The staff is mostly high school kids, which isn’t a bad thing, but they often seem lost when you ask questions about what’s in something or when it was made. Service feels rushed and transactional. The warmth and pride that used to define the place are gone.
And the credit card surcharge? That’s disappointing. Montilio’s isn’t a small mom-and-pop struggling to get by. Passing credit fees onto customers feels cheap for a bakery with their reputation and prices.
Plenty of other reviews say the same—beautiful presentation, mediocre taste. If you care about the real bakery experience, this isn’t it anymore. It feels like the soul left when the ownership changed.
I’ll give it a 2 out of 5. You’ll get something that looks good in a box, but not something you’ll crave again tomorrow.

Went here today to get some pastries. We got a crème puff, a slice of pistachio cake and a container of sugar cookies and all 3 were terrible. The creme puff was stale, pistachio cake tasted like it’s been in the freezer for a while, super dry, and the cookies tasted like chemicals. If you’re going to overcharge (25$ for 3 items), then they at-least better be good. Will not be back.

I am so impressed with the service I encountered at your Brockton location last week!!
I went in to pick up a cake and get a few pastries. There were two other customers in the store already ordering custom cakes. Another gentleman walked in to get pastry.
Sariyah never wavered from her absolutely outstanding customer service! She was calm and gracious. She moved in between customers, answering questions and never stopped smiling.
At a time where brick and mortar stores are struggling, she is the absolute best face to have up front greeting and taking care of customers.
Braintree had three times the help and the same amount of customers the last time I was there. Please send Sariyah there to train them. She’s knows the secret to success.
Brockton is my only go to location from now on.

Placed an order took 55 mins and not completely cook when they gave it to us..Employee was super high and very rude. Asked to be reimbursed prior to getting food and was told no that takes to long.

Bought a vanilla cup with chocolate frosting there last night and a chocolate mouse cake. Got to the car to try the cupcake, it was frozen. Waited for it to thaw out and it tasted like freezer burn. Tried the mouse cake, tasted like freezer burn. Called the store this morning and spoke to the manager Mirela. She told me I was a liar that the cupcake was not frozen and that neither tasted like freezer burn. No apology for the inconvenience, no how can we make it right, nothing. Kept talking over me, very combative. Never going back there again. Not fresh, don't waste your money. Worst customer service ever.

Nothing was baked today that's for sure. I bought a sugar cookie and m&ms cookie. Both were stale and lacked flavor. I also bought an apple twist which was super dry and also had no flavor. I absolutely do not recommend this place!

I am highly disappointed in this establishment. Somehow, there was miscommunication about the date of my cake, which is annoying because I was in person when I purchased and spoke to a real human about the specific date. Thank god I didn't waste any more gas money to my trip there. No birthday cake for my birthday. However I should be happy because I have a discount now when I arrive back? Absolutely insane to think I would come back. Apparently, they are only loyal to the customers who are regulars in the neighborhood! I see a lot of good comments from locals. Extremely disappointed.
Requested my pizza well-done and it arrived perfectly crispy and well done. Absolutely delicious. Order well done for a crispy crust

I went to Montilios this weekend for dessert and breakfast pastries. We got 6 various mini cupcakes and a whoopie pie. They were so stale. I’d be utterly embarrassed if I brought them to someone’s house. Stale to the point that you could tap on them and hear a sound. The whoopie pie wasn’t as stale as the mini cupcakes but also not very good. The center was frosting and we weren’t expecting pure frosting.
Most of the breakfast stuff was pretty good, except the cinnamon twists/sticks. I overheard a worker saying they were brought in this morning so I figured they were fresh. They were incredibly heavy and dense. They are supposed to be puffy and light. I would not recommend them.
