Went to precinct 10 o. Saturday night and got a steak. It was overcooked, when I pointed this out to the waitress she replied yes this happens all the time. How can you charge $40 for a steak and overcook it all the time?

Precinct 10 – From Winter Gem to Summer Ghost: A 20-Year Local’s Honest Plea

I’ve lived in Weymouth over 20 years. I’ve seen great spots rise and others vanish, but few had the potential that Precinct 10 did—especially in winter. The ambiance, food, drinks, music, staff—it had it. You’d walk in on a cold night and feel the buzz. That was P10 at its best.

And when it’s working, it’s not by chance—it’s because of people like Matt behind the bar. The guy runs that place like he owns it. He remembers names, orders, moods—makes new folks feel like regulars and regulars feel like family. That’s not a bartender. That’s a brand rep.

Then there’s Cassidy, a manager who carries herself like an owner. I met her recently and genuinely thought she was. She was on the floor, engaged with staff and guests, steering the vibe like a pro. She brings the presence and pride this place needs year-round.

And yet… here we are. Another summer. DJs spinning to half-empty rooms. Events gone quiet. Vibe? Dead by mid-April.

This is not a staff issue. This is an ownership issue.

You own four restaurants. Three are thriving. P10 isn’t. That’s not on managers. That’s on you. Ignoring summer programming has left the space to wither. Meanwhile, The Page, Middle Ground—even The 99—are buzzing. That’s not luck. That’s leadership.

Let’s be honest: silence doesn’t pay bills.

Your staff? Hustling. They care. But they can’t book live music or push weekly events without backing. Without a calendar, a budget, or direction, they’re stuck. And you’re letting a premium venue sit half-dead all summer.

Here’s how you fix it—starting now:
1. Karaoke Night (Weekly)
Brand it. Own it. Hire a host. Promote it. Karaoke brings groups, laughs, energy, and return traffic.
2. Open Mic Night
Make P10 a launchpad for South Shore talent. Poets, comics, musicians—they’re out there. Give them a stage. Host it right and you’ll fill seats with artists and their people.
3. Programming Calendar
Plan six months ahead: 80s night, Latin night, acoustic Fridays. Budget it. Market it. Run this like your other spots.
4. Empower Cassidy and the Team
Let frontline talent lead events. Give them budget and freedom. They know what clicks. Trust them.

Why this falls on ownership:
• Managers operate within your limits. No karaoke, live acts, or events happen without approval.
• P10 lacks summer identity. That’s not an accident. It’s because ownership hasn’t defined it.
• Your other spots work. So why is this one drifting?
• You’ve got the space, the team, the food, the drinks. The only missing piece is activation—and that’s your job.

You’re leaving money on the table and draining energy from a team that wants to do more. And worst of all, you’re letting what could be a South Shore flagship fade out.

People want to go out. They want to sing with friends, hear local artists, and walk into something exciting. P10 can be that place.

But only if ownership shows up, steps up, and invests in it again.

I’m writing this because I care. Because I want to keep coming back. Because I know what this place feels like when it’s alive—and I want that to last more than one season.

The staff’s ready. The locals are ready. Now we’re just waiting on you.

Stephaine the manager is extremely rude and disrespectful. I ordered Alfredo blackened chicken and shrimp.. After receiving it was Sour and tasted like sour salt! I did not eat a bite I asked the manager to switch for something else or take the meal off. I was informed I will be charged to substitute meal so the manager Stefani and the part owner Eric double charged. You’re better off going to Mc Donald’s than eating that over cooked soup food. I been coming here for nearly 8yrs and I always enjoyed the blackened pasta and Tara my amazing server.
They no longer serve bread for free so I ordered two pop overs but the food itself taste horrible so good luck to any and everyone dining.. Stephanie a manager argued and proceeded to say no free meals over here and I made it very clear I did not eat the meal she said I know but I took it back to kitchen and offered to wrap it up for you to go. I asked why are you charging me.The irony is I typically spend $200-400.00 anytime I come but today’s my last and final time dining.Perhaps it’s because I’m black and she’s Caucasian that’s why she thinks I need a free meal. Lol look at the blackened pasta for yourself. It’s like soup and pasta over cooked pasta at that.
The manager Stefani’s rude argumentation attitude put a cherry I too for why I will never return... I will tell all my friends and No more work outings at this place.
Honestly it’s not worth attending anymore.. I paid my little 120.00 Bill and that will be my last straw.
Good luck to Precinct and Eric the owners you should be ashamed of yourself forcing diners to pay for despicable food and disgusting management.. I will post the full TikTok review next.

The male slim 30-40 something Friday night bartender is intense and not friendly at all. Every interaction he was negative, controlling and treating us like we were not intelligent or had never ordered food or drink before. He made us feel like leaving but we were watching the Celtics. He told us if we put our silverware on our bowl that means we were done. He asked if we needed a box and just one of us said yes but the other was still eating. Then he brought a box for her 3 minutes later. 👀 We had to tell him we were not leaving.

Before that I was wondering what was in the martini flight and he explained the difference between light and dark espresso martinis. That wasn’t what I was asking but it was condescending and aggressive, so I waited for my friend to get there. Then I asked a different way so I could decide if I wanted it. Then he explained what was in them. And I knew not to order them.

He seems to work a certain way that is just getting drinks but not interacting too well with the customers. In order to not have to have him serve me again, I will just not eat here Friday’s or Saturday’s again.

I worked in the restaurant industry for 25 years. I would not want to have him represent my brand. I would get rid of him as quick as I could.

Then another bartender asked us if we wanted dessert. She gave us a menu. He came over and said we had 60 seconds to order. I didn’t read it yet and he took the menu away.

At this point I’m hoping to never interact with him again. I haven’t felt this way in years or maybe ever.

The others were all so great!

I ordered online, and I ordered 2 crispy haddock Reubens. I pick up the order and get home...it is 2 haddock fillets. Seriously, you can't even take phone order?!?!?! I must have said the name of the sandwich 5 times! I do not get to go out to dinner often because I have been sick, and the one rare night I get to order out and spend a HUGE amount of money, these fools screw it up. The food was subpar at best and the portions were "meh". I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN! I know they don't care about the customers, but do you have to make it that obvious?

Always a delight! Recommend muscles, clam chowder, calamari, paella. The staff is great as a whole. Regulars for years and have never been disappointed.

The restaurant and bar is actually pretty big to the point they have an area for music and dancing on the weekends. We have not been attended a late night but have enjoyed a lunch and dinner here in the past six months. We tried the cheese plate, tacos and burger to name a few. The drinks were good and the cheese plate was a decent size. The prices are similar to other restaurants in the area which is the moderate cost range. The service was good and they have plenty of TVs for any sports fans looking for more than pub food options when watching the game.
