By far one of my favorite bar pies of all time. If I could eat them every day I would.

If you’re in Weymouth, do yourself a favour and visit Red Rose Pub. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hands down the best pint of Guinness in town — perfectly poured, creamy, and absolutely spot on every single time. You can tell they take real pride in what they serve.
The owner and staff are genuinely some of the most amazing and welcoming people you’ll meet. From the moment you walk in, you’re made to feel like a local. Friendly, attentive, and always up for a chat, they create such a warm and relaxed vibe.
The atmosphere is fantastic — lively but comfortable, the kind of place where you can unwind, laugh with friends, and stay longer than you planned. And the bar pizza? Simply the best. Fresh, packed with flavour, and the perfect match for that flawless Guinness.
Red Rose Pub is an absolute gem. Can’t recommend it highly enough — I’ll definitely be back! 🍻

This place is everything you want in a great local bar and then some. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s run by people who truly care about their customers, their staff, and the overall experience. The owner is welcoming, and genuine and makes sure everyone feels at home. That kind of ownership shows in every detail.
The food is great and the bar pizza is by far the best I've had anywhere around. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or settling in for a full meal, you can’t go wrong. The menu has something for everyone, and it’s clear pride is taken in what comes out of the kitchen.
A solid beer selection and the best pints of Guinness around and closest you'll get to something like back in Ireland and bartenders who actually know what they’re doing, everything is made right, and the staff is happy to make recommendations if you’re unsure.
The bartenders are friendly, attentive, and professional without ever feeling rushed. You’re not just another customer, you’re treated like a regular, even on your first visit. They pay attention, remember faces, and make sure your experience is top-notch from start to finish.
The atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable, and lively without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of place you can come to unwind after work, catch a game, meet friends, or just enjoy a great meal and drink without feeling rushed out the door.
If you’re looking for a bar that combines great food, excellent drinks, exceptional service, and an owner who genuinely cares, this is the place to be. Highly recommend supporting a spot like this, you’ll keep coming back.

The weather on this night was 18° feels like 6°. My friend cowboy Johnny recommended we try the place so we did and we thought it was pretty cute. We were there for a good hour and a half and of course I have a bad habit of smoking cigarettes so I go outside a lot. Every time I came back in I would keep my hoodie on until my ears warmed up. Twice in 5 minutes I had two people a male and a female come to me telling me I had to take off my hood or leave, I explained the same thing to them as I did hear about my nasty smoking habits and how cold I was considering I'm originally come from Tennessee. So we were forced to leave which was a shame because I thought the place was kind of cute. My better half and I don't have any children except our dog so we do eat out a lot but I don't believe we will return to this place to find out how good the food and service are, all this over a red white and blue flag hoodie

20 degrees out and when you come in from the cold confront you about having your hood up twice in 5 min when you said you would take it down as soon as you warm up. Ridiculous.

Great pizza, ppl, and atmosphere!!!🤗
If I could leave zero stars, I would.
My sister-in-law and I walked into Red Rose for a casual drink — nothing crazy, just trying to relax. I’m 29 years old, well over the legal drinking age, and had two forms of ID: my passport (the most official legal ID there is) and a photo of my driver’s license as backup.
Despite all that, I was denied a drink. Why? They couldn’t even give a real reason. It made absolutely no sense. I didn’t show up empty-handed, I wasn’t disrespectful — I had legitimate, government-issued proof of who I was, and still, they refused service.
Honestly, it felt personal.
There’s already a reputation around town that the staff at Red Rose are homophobic, and after my experience, I believe it 100%. I don’t pull that card lightly, but when you’re treated like trash for absolutely no reason, it’s pretty clear what’s going on.
The whole place is exactly what you’d expect — a bunch of small-town hillbillies clinging to the one bar they think they run.
And let’s talk about the bartender from Ireland who thinks he’s somebody — sir, you work at a dive bar in Weymouth. Relax. Whatever standard you think you brought with you is long gone.
Bottom line: don’t waste your time or money. There are a million better places where you’ll actually be treated like a human being. Red Rose is trash, period.
Always seen it from the outside and glad I went in.
