I don't know what it is about the tavern in the squares. I've been to the one Braintree and the one in Weymouth numerous times. The food is always good. The wait staff just seems like they're not quite trained all the way. I've used the gift card. I've had both times to use it app that somebody gave me for Christmas and they seem very confused about how to redeem it. When I asked for a receipt showing the balance left on the gift card, it confuses them...
Everything was great. The only issue our guests had was that the cocktails were very weak. So would not come for cocktails. Food was good except the Tuscan chicken and general Tso chickens were very dry.
Josh was a great server was very attentive and understanding of the table situation but overall just was trying to make everybody happy. we will be back and we appreciate everything he did for us as a table
