Tried to call 8 times today to place a take out order. Most of the time went to voicemail. Last time, got hung up on. Over it.

Atmosphere and food acceptable, bar staff little to be desired. Putting it mildly, quite RUDE. Totally contrary of what the Irish are known for….a warm welcome. If you’re not a ‘regular’ be prepared to be analyzed and ignored. Better yet, find another place to spend your hard earned money.

I really enjoyed Cottage Bar. The food was good but I think my omelette had not so fresh eggs in it. It was ok, the hash browns were good. The coffee was good, my daughter loved her bagel and fruit.

First timers, stopped in for a meal and drinks, quiet evening but that's what we like. Kevin was friendly and attentive and made us laugh! Will be back when in the area : )

Went this past Sunday and was greeted with a big smile and a “Good Morning “ I believe the bartender said her name was Amber . She was great ! Hope she is the regular Sunday bartender because I’ll be back for just her dazzling personality! Great watching the Braintree Little League World Series. Thought it was great The Cottage had it on all the TVs with sound on

Never in my life have I felt compelled to leave a one-star rating for a restaurant until last night.

Four of us sat down around 8:00 to have dinner and a couple of drinks and appetizers. I ordered a peanut butter cup whiskey milkshake and my friends ordered some other beer and mixed drinks. We noticed that there was not a lot of staff working, but that is pretty normal in dining these days so I didn't think anything of it at first.

About 30 minutes after we were seated, I think, somebody came over and finally asked us if we wanted to order food. The band was really loud but we managed to order two appetizers and four entrees. I finally also got to ask for a water to go with my alcoholic beverage.

About 20 minutes after that, the appetizers came out. They were okay. Then about 10 minutes after that the food came out. Well three dinners came out anyway. I got to sit and watch my friends eat their dinner while I waited for my bangers and mash. It was really fun when the runner brought me over a shepherd's pie about 10 minutes later and when I said that's not what I ordered, she freaked out and started yelling that the kitchen was closed, sorry, and ran away with it saying it was supposed to be for the band. Oh and that's great because I had already taken bites out of it so I'm sure the band really enjoyed that dinner. I was very fortunate in that I was able to get another cup of water to hold me over for another 30 minutes while nobody told me anything about getting dinner or if it was going to be replaced, and then I was served a lukewarm plate of mashed potato and sausage.

Really disappointing, will not be back, you guys should really hire some more back of house help if it's this bad on a weekend. Thanks for the free microwave leftovers.

Best place around to grab a full Irish breakfast. Was so happy to see they open at 7am on the weekends for breakfast. Kevin the bartender was incredibly kind and extremely on top of everything. Loved the whole experience.

I didn't care that I ordered fried food somewhere far away. I knew it would get soggy. My beef with them is that they PURPOSELY salted, already salted food, MY FRIED PICKLES for example. Like, you do realize that the effing pickles are already SALTY because of the BRINE?! And the cauliflower was also extremely salty, and I couldn't even enjoy it. Again, I knew it would be soggy when it got to me, I don't care about soggy breading. The flavors and the purposely salted SALTY FOOD.

And this is today....and I was a first time customer too. Never again.
