Updated: Very tasty food, and the service was very friendly. Just the patio/terrace need a bit maintenance(season was over, so it makes sense, no complains), but the inside looks very nice.

My husband and I, plus two other couples spent a delightful evening together at True North last night. We took advantage of the Two for Tuesday menu and we were not disappointed! We had reservations and when we arrived our table was ready for us. Kayleigh, our server, was by our side and took our drink orders and answered all our questions. She remained attentive and professional throughout the evening.
I ordered the Papi’s Punch which was such an appropriate drink for October. The food was not only amazing but the portions were so generous. Kudos to the chef!!!
We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back soon … 🤩

We were there last Friday night for "Date Night". Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic, delicious, fresh and plenty as we toke some of the food home. Never had a bad meal at this restaurant. Our server B was super nice, pleasant, friendly and on point with everything. We ended up with a dessert on the house, due to the loud ordeal going on around us. Server also forgot to tell us about the specials for the night because of the all commotion, but understandable. Dessert was a nice gesture from them and we appreciate it. Excellent service all around though, as per usual. Thank you. We'll be back. Suggestions for the restaurant: don't have YOUR family with loud kids over for dinner at 7PM on a Friday night rush while adults and couples are out to enjoy a meal or drinks at the Bar. This is more of a Bar type of place, doesn't look like a family restaurant. And don't ever sit a couple right next to a large loud table. Customers should always be priority.
First time...will definitely be back! Great experience, Server Caldwell K was outstanding!
Worst food I’ve ever had. The chicken was raw and they charged me for the one I sent back, and the new one.

Always a wonderful dinner. Great service, great food, kind of a neighborhood bar/restaurant experience but I love that. One of my south shore favorites.
First time there last night. Servers were pleasant. Meatball pizza was really good. Will be back.

True North Kitchen is an absolute gem! The food is a solid 10/10 and the hospitality? Easily an 11/10. The fried shrimp is hands down the best on the South Shore—perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. Honestly, everything we’ve tried here has been top notch. You can tell they put real care into every dish. We can’t wait to come back and try the pizza next. If you’re in the area and not a regular yet, you’re seriously missing out!
Best Detroit pizza around
The food was delicious! The cali chicken sandwich was fantastic and the fries were the best!
Excellent!
The food is delicious / stick to your ribs
The service is just what you want from a local restaurant, friendly, kind, helpful and engaging
The place is always immaculately clean. (I never take this for granted.)
The price point extremely competitive and portions are huge.
I love the chicken parm, my wife loves the burger.
