Such a cute bar and restaurant with friendly service. Good beer selection on tap and bottle. Food menu extensive for bar food. Calamari was rubbery but eatable. Clam chowder was good. Chicken sandwich was well prepared and came with loads of hot crispy fries. High tops and bar seating only.

What an outstanding place. The service was excellent, the staff was extremely friendly and cordial, and the food was great. The crowd was also very nice to be around. Would highly recommend again.

This place is truly the best of both worlds. A historic hole in the wall with patrons and tourist alike. The food was incredible! I recommend a Ruben with homemade onion rings!
We have enjoyed many a nights at Union because of the great bartenders that have kept us coming back. We also enjoyed a few different appetizers and specials as well which have tasted good. Another great addition to the good service and dog friendly bar is the trivia night or the singo bingo they have on rotating nights. If you enjoy a friendly smile from anyone on the bartending crew: Shannon, Patty, Tina, Joe, Loretta, Dan or Sam to name a few this is the local pub for you. Definitely worth a stop for a pint or two.

This place used to be a bit above mediocre. It was horrible the last 2 times. Food was trash. Bartender rushed us out on a Monday the first time. Second time Guinness was half head after the guy said he knew how to pour it ?. Might give it one more chance but heard it's closing (again).

Had all the high hopes… Food was nothing but crusty (stale) and barely and clams. That was my main point. Unfortunately my last hope was the clam chowder-watery. Plenty of fries for fries lovers (I don’t eat much— but no chetchup, utensils, no ketchup) Really was hoping to give the same.recommendations I was given. It was cold and wet- perhaps from condensation but I waited for it fresh. The proportions though. Disappointing. Otherwise amazing people work there and good atmosphere.
