Had an awesome experience at Blue Elephant in Wilbraham. The drunken noodles were absolutely incredible—perfectly cooked with amazing flavor and just the right amount of heat. But what really blew me away was the crispy basil fish… hands down one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. Crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor.
On top of the food, the owner and our waitress were both very sweet and accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. You can really feel how much they care about their customers. Will be back again soon!

I travel throughout the US for work. I am so delighted to find such an excellent Thai restaurant here in the area. I had the Tom soup and a cashew dinner. The food and service were absolutely extraordinary, a very comfortable place to dine with really classy tables surrounded by semi private booths. This is worth a drive.

We’ve driven by this place so many times and was always curious about the food. I jumped the gun and finally order and boy was I ever so disappointed! We had their pork jerky, crispy basil fish, and pad see ew. Everything was disappointing! The portions were so small for the prices they charge. The jerky was tiny pieces of pork belly that had an off smell, not jerky at all: simple stir fried pork belly. Pad see ew was broken pieces of rice noodles and no flavor, and the beef was very chewy. The “crispy” basil fish, was a small piece of fish swimming in a pool of sweet chili sauce. We’ve been to Thai restaurants all over New England and this was the worst. Not worth your money and I wish I got a refund. Wish I could’ve gave you a negative star review. Waste of $65.

I recently dined at the Blue Elephant Thai Restaurant in Springfield, and I was pleasantly surprised by both the ambiance and the food. Upon walking in, you’re greeted by a modern, inviting setting with a central island bar that seats 15. Despite having just a couple of patrons at the bar during my visit, the space felt comfortable and welcoming. The elephant-themed decor adds a unique charm to the environment, while booths for up to six people—including a few cozy corner booths—offer comfortable seating options for families or small groups.
The staff was consistently friendly and attentive, regardless of whether they were my server or simply walking by. The restaurant had a steady flow of takeout orders, which kept the atmosphere lively without feeling distracting. Even small details, like offering towels to dry your hands in the bathroom, added a nice touch.
For my meal, I ordered the minced pork with Thai basil, which was delicious. The pork was flavorful, with just the right amount of spice, complemented by fragrant Thai basil. The dish was accompanied by a perfectly fried egg on top of jasmine rice, adding a richness that balanced the savory pork beautifully. The plate was thoughtfully presented, complete with cucumber slices that provided a fresh contrast to the dish’s bold flavors.
Before my main dish, I started with spring rolls, which were crisp and served with a tasty dipping sauce, making for a great appetizer. To finish, I had Thai custard, which was light, creamy, and served with a generous dollop of whipped cream. Both the appetizer and dessert were attractively plated with orchid flowers, adding an elegant touch to the overall dining experience.
The Blue Elephant Thai Restaurant delivered an excellent experience, with a warm atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food that I would highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine in Springfield.

I've eaten there twice. My first experience was amazing. My second experience was mediocre. It may have been because the staff was learning. My potatoes in my meal were still raw. I told my server when she asked how everything was, and she did absolutely nothing about it. She didn't even come back. She didn't offer to bring me another serving with cooked potatoes. Save your money on the drinks. I've ordered a sangria each visit and both times it was like drinking a glass of juice with a splash of wine.
Dietary restrictions: They were accommodating and provided me with steamed veggies since I wasn't eating rice.

The Pad Kratiam was fabulous! Veggies
were fresh and crunchy, shrimp tender. Asian comfort food for the win. I will be back.
