Don't know what happened to this once great seafood place. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." The current owner has changed the batter for the fish and it was not good at all. He even changed the type of cooking oil to disgusting vegetable oil that leaves the fish greasy and makes the new batter taste like it. Ugh! The batter was not crisp and tasty like George made it. It was as if we entered the twilight zone of fish shops. It was almost as if vegans took over food prep and quality and/or type of ingredients. Tartar sauce was even different, yuck. The new owner should warn customers about the fish and chips: I expected the same quality of white fish that George sold us in the past...we didn't get that. I'm not sure what kind of fish we were served but it wasn't cod, or even pollock.Fish portions were pathetic for a fish and chips dinner (very small) for the cost of $15.00 a pop. So disappointing. Now there are no more good fish and chips joints left in my local area of western mass....

Wow...So we will go out of our way to find whole belly clams, and surprise surprise we didn't have to travel that far....We look for an amazing batter, who fries them right, who has great quality, who's vendor is on point for freshest seafood deliveries!Well here we could not have been HAPPIER.Juicy, perfectly coated and friedNot to mention an amazing portion compared to almost any other location we have ever been tooMy picture truly won't do it justice, I wish I had a tape measure lol to show you what was really in the basket ?They even said the day before they had even bigger whole bellies... you can bet your bottoms ill be calling at opening time some days to see when they do cause we'll be one of the first ones in line..Thanks WS for an amazing meal.

Went today for first time food was amazing fish and chips yummy and the buffalo tenders yummy also the coleslaw prob best ive had in a long time great food.

Best seafood anywhere in the area. Feel like you're at the beach only 6 or 8 tables. the service is great and the food is outstanding. Very good prices for the amount of food you get and the quality. It's a fish market with some inside seating. Love it love it love it!

You will pay for excellent quality and freshness. The shrimps I took home were delicious. Will repeat for sure.

Got take out the fish filets were thin and hard the fries. Very greasy, cost 23 a disappointment

I've literally recommended this restaurant for year's and went through a recently and had a horrible experience. The fish and chips were different and disgusting ? brought the order back turned out the fish ? was swaii which is CHEAP farm raised fish. Basically fish that eats other fish waste that are breed in extreme close tanks or whatever. Changed the order and charged us more for oily scallops and claims. And gave us the same cold fries...! Disgusting all a round spent way too much money on unsatisfied product.?

No oysters, waited one day on Whole bellied clams, new batch. So expensive, but knew it would be, everything is gone up! Food cooked just right.
