For a cozy, comfy chair lounge around and eat your dinner spot, this was just the ticket. We were seated right away, despite the place being quite full and then the burgers were superb! Catering to a dairy allergy and getting it just right made a really nice meal. Oh, and I should mention the fries! Soft in the middle and extra crispy on the outside.

I wanted to like this place as much as the 5 star reviews here. But I can't.I will say Lila gets 5 stars for service she was sweet. Old Fashioned had too much fruit in it that it was too sweet. Order your drink neat.. Freckle Pickles and Buffalo wings were ok. Both needed to be cooked more they didn't stay hot. Crispy on the outside, not great in the middle.. Blue cheese dip was off. The beef chili was good, but it wasn't spicy as advertised. We asked about the lobster, and while it comes from Maine, it is Frozen, and you can tell... difference is in the taste and the texture..MP For filet and Lobster is $53 ..DON'T Bother. The regular steak was ok, but they cooked mine well when I asked for medium.. dry clumpish mashed potatoes, green beans were good. It was either this place or ordering in pizza. So we wanted to try this place.

I hate to give a bad review but it just was not good overall. Our main complaints were these: had these wonderful candelabra lights throughout but super bright bulbs in all of them, shining in your eyes - we even talked about it with the people in the table next to us - joked about finding a switch to turn them off - so funny how something negative started a pleasant experience with social interaction with others - we actually found this to be a highlight of our trip. The other complaint was the salad we paid additional (not included with meal) was so small we could literally count the number of leaves on the plate - compared to all the other restaurants this was unacceptable - lettuce leaves are not that expensive. As for the main course, we both ordered the same dish and it was like something we could make quickly at home (chicken with a fruit topping). We overheard the 2 couples in the next table complaining about their food but could not gather details. The staff was very nice but seemed like they were new - we had to wait longer than we wanted to - and typically we are not very picky about this. It is sad for us to say this because it was such a cute place, but they need some work if they want to keep up with the competition - drive a few miles to the Red Lion Inn for a 10 times better experience for not much more money.

Stopped in here on a short stay in the area. Seafood pasta was delicious and plenty for both my husband and I to share. The staff were also very friendly and the venue is a really pretty old barn! However, the drink selections were very disappointing and way overpriced. Drink menu did not have prices so we were a bit shocked to see almost $15 each when our tab came.

Lucked out, looking for someplace for a bite after a long driving day. We split 3 appys in place of dinner, one better than the next! Hot honey pretzel bites with dipping sauce, sauteed mussels in a *wonderful* broth, & baked brie with cranberry chutney & candied walnuts. Our server was lovely, with insights into both the menu and the local area.Oh, yeah, we'll be back!

Curb appeal, meh. Signage on where to enter or park, missing in action. HOWEVER, Zac served us a delightful raspberry chicken. It was fresh, moist, hot and delicious! Garlic mashed potatoes completed this dish. (Not a broccoli guy, but my wife said it was great). In addition, I requested that our wine be served when our entree was served. Usually, most servers can not get this request right. ZAC DID! Pleasant atmosphere and ambiance. It's a pub, there are no candles or linen table cloths. All the servers were attentive to their customers. An error on an order was made at a neighboring table and the server apologized for the error and went above and beyond to make sure his customers were happy. Big thumbs up!! I instantly asked my wife if she could make raspberry chicken with our raspberries. Thanks Zac!

This place never disappoints! The food is excellent and kudos to the Chef! I had the Raspberry chicken, but we started with the pretzel crusted honey cheese balls. They were different and awesome. Our waitress was Marki and she was a delight. Great personality! She knows her stuff when asked about the dishes.

For years we had been going to the 6 House Pub but shortly before Covid the service became so terrible, we stopped going. Last Saturday on August 12th, we decided to try it again. After making a reservation for 4, we were seated among other diners but the hostess left the menus on the table then walked away without saying a word. We sat for 20 minutes, had no one offer water, nor take a drink order nor even say they would return shortly. The restaurant was about half full and during the 20 minutes, a number of waitresses walked by our table yet no one acknowledged our presence. We saw one sitting at the bar speaking with the bartender while another was cleaning the table next to us. About 10 minutes later she returned and began setting the same table. Unbelievable!! Had the waitstaff been busy with other customers, I would have understood, but they were all were walking by us acting like zombies. We decided to leave and on the way out, I asked the bartender if he was the manager to which he answered “sometimes.” I told him why we were leaving and he said “sorry.” I can’t even say the service was terrible because it was nonexistent and we will not be returning.

We waited over 30 minutes and no wait staff came to the table. The hostess knew we were ready to order because they needed to change our table.
