Just awful! In every way.

I would give this hotel negative stars if possible. It has been an absolute nightmare!!! My family booked 2 rooms in July of 2020 for graduation in May of 2021. We were able to book the rooms without a problem and received confirmation twice - once when we made the reservation and another the week of our trip. I also received a cancelation notice the week of the trip, but quickly received another confirmation and an email saying the cancellation was a glitch in their system. I called the hotel and got the voicemail of the general manager, Janelle LaFleche, and never heard back despite leaving multiple messages, emails and messages to the company’s facebook page. The day of the trip we pulled up to the hotel to find half of the entrance with caution tape around it and a notice on the front door saying the hotel has been closed since March of 2020!! If the hotel has been closed due to COVID, can someone tell me why they’re still accepting reservations and letting customers pay for rooms they will not be able to use? There is no message about the hotel being closed on any social media associated with the hotel, or mentioned on the voicemail of the general manager. For $200/night I expected more. Horrible business practices and I will make sure to never give business to this hotel group again.Luckily, the Holiday Inn in North Adams had availability and the staff was nothing but friendly. I would recommend the Holiday Inn to anyone traveling out to this area!

Do not make a reservation at this hotel. I made a reservation for two rooms and had to cancel my reservations 6 months prior to my check-in date. To this date almost a year later I still have not received my refund. I would like to get my money back but what frustrates me the most is the radio silence from the hotel. I have called and no-one answers the phone, leave messages and receive no return call, and send emails with no response. I understand hotels have struggled during the pandemic but at a minimum respond and tell me you don't have the capital to honor your cancellation policy.

Excellent hospitality, superb quality services, as far I remember from my three days staying, spring of the year 1989, on a business trip to Williamstown invited by the local office of Mr John Umlauf.

I booked 4 rooms for 4th of July weekend and they took $289 Twice ! So they are holding almost $600 of my money even though I canceled two months prior and was well ahead of timing to get a complete refund. Janelle is the manager and one time out of the 15 times I called she answered the phone and said she was not authorized to credit me. She said it was a corporate matter and she didn’t have any power. The corporation is called Hay Creek Hotels and They don’t answer the phone and I don’t return calls either. I know there is COVID-19 however a return phone call would be courteous and respectful!!! Did they go out of business?

I cancelled in early May for a July stay. Have not received my 222.00 deposit as of this date July 17. I was told by a manager in early June to expect my refund in two months from my cancellation date. That has come and gone. I cannot get through to a person by phone to discuss the matter. What is going on at this hotel?

Cancelled reservation in March weeks before reservation and still have not receive credit to my credit card . Was told it would take up to 10 days it has been over 3 months and when I called the employee in accounting was extremely rude and hung up on me. When I called back no one answered and I have continued to call back with no one picking up the phone. I have had to put a dispute in on my credit card . I can’t believe a hotel would need this much time to refund a reservation and to have an employee that is so rude . I had been going there during the Easter holiday to visit family for years . I will never return and it looks like the newly renovated Williams Inn will be my choice next time. I would not recommend this place ever again so disappointing .

Excellent hotel. Looks gorgeous inside and out. Great service . Keep it up?

it is filled with contradictions...tacky entry and fountain, but beautiful antiques and moldings inside. Pathetic fitness center, but lovely fabrics and floral arrangements. Comfortable bed in a large room, but horrible avocado green bathroom. The worst of it was the fact that they advertise an attached restaurant and bar that have been closed for the better part of a year...we would NEVER have chosen to stay there had we known.

Giant Room. HUGE room, actually. Large bath. Bath was clean, marble tile floor with tub and shower. Bath was definitely a little dated and room is not done in the chic decor done typically in new hotels, but it was nice. Hallways were pretty with wood and sconces, but need new carpets.I appreciated the hot water urn for tea that was only used for hot water. Tea drinkers will understand - my tea didn't taste like old coffee! 24/7 coffee/tea in lobby/living room with cookies and roaring fire is nice touch. Not a great exercise room, but there is a sign that says they are updating it.

The heat in our room was not working. Staff attempted to fix it but no changes in temperature (60's). We slept fully clothed both nights (Valentines Day and the following night), even with the extra two blankets. Large room and bathroom, although the bathroom was definitely 'dated' (think not-quite-pink toilet, tub and sinks). Wireless internet service was among the best, so they did have that done properly.

Spent New Year’s at the Orchard. Enjoyed the comedy show & DJ after. Buffet was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean & spacious. Building could use some TLC though. Overall great experience.

Location was perfect, hallways and outer decor was beautiful. Then you get into the room... old school! Blue tub and toilet(70’s), light sprinkle shower, tiny beds, very few outlets and none near the bed stand to plug in iPhone. Could be amazing but they need to update! Also Breakfast was boiled eggs, yogurt and granola and bread- that you toast yourself. Not really great for the price.

Functional as an overnight stay while touring the area. The facilities are a bit jaded. The staff are friendly. The rooms are adequate and clean. Guests were allowed one beer or a glass of wine at dinner but no more after that. The external catering staff were in a rush to clear up and closed the bar. No scope for waiting and enjoying a night cap after the meal - very disappointing.
