Cute town and atmosphere! Food was okay... We definitely recommend the fresh dips, they were very good! Our appetizer left us wanting more from our entrees. My husband's chicken seemed microwaved (?) and his couscous was cold. My salad was overdressed, but the salmon I had added was very good! Drinks were not good - WAY too much sour mix, not enjoyable at all. Overall, place was okay.

Was really looking forward to trying Plates. Unfortunately we received the wrong takeout order after waiting for 45 minutes past pickup time, so didn’t actually get to eat the food. This one star review is for bad customer service

We had a wonderful catered meal for 13 at our vrbo. So pleasant to work with the chef on the meal/cost and the food was delicious and well received by our guests. Very happy with everything!

Plates Mediterranean Bistro, was an incredible find in Williamstown, MA! Every bite was bursting with freshness and flavor. We started with the Summer Vegetable Flatbread—piled high with vibrant, seasonal veggies and a rich, house-made hummus that was absolutely divine. The Zatar Cacio e Pepe was a delightful twist on a classic, featuring tender peas and hearty beans that made it truly one-of-a-kind. Both dishes were delicious, memorable, and I can’t recommend this spot highly enough!

I walked in there and was hit with a cheery place. Immediately when I walked in I was also hit with an off vibe. Appetizer was ok, but the starter has scarred me. Took a bite into the kebab and was met with sour, undercooked chicken. Threw up 6 times that night and now have a fear of throwing up. Coincidence? I think not.

We had a great date! It was our first time and boy it did make an impression! Food was perfect! Service was fantastic. The two ladies serving us were the best! They made our gastro experience even more special! Music adds to the warmth of the place! We will definitely go back and will let our friends know it’s the best place to get authentic Mediterranean cuisines. Amazing!

I had an exceptional dining experience here, and a huge part of that was thanks to my server, Gina. From the moment we sat down, Gina was not just attentive, but genuinely personable, making sure every need was met with precision and warmth. It was clear from the start that she had a keen understanding of the standards expected in fine dining, effortlessly elevating the overall experience.

As for the food, we started with the Plates Spread Trio, which was a great variety of flavors, followed by the Lamb Shank and Chicken Kebab. While the dishes were solid and enjoyable, I’d say they were more on the average side—flavorful, but not quite standing out as exceptional. Nevertheless, the quality of service made up for any culinary shortcomings, and I still left the restaurant feeling very satisfied overall.

All in all, it’s the kind of place where you feel well taken care of, and I’d definitely recommend it for the impeccable service alone. Gina truly set a high bar for what hospitality should be!
