We were celebrating New Years eve! The host and staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Our server was very nice, honest, open and fun. The four us started with some small plates which we shared and enjoyed. A great selection. Each of us had a different entrée which each of us enjoyed. We were not rushed through and the timing of the service was great.

Ordered the pork chop and was disapointed. It had no crust or char to it at all. It had a texture of almost being boiled 🤷🏻♂️. With that being said, I've been here multiple times and have had great meals here. I guess just an off night or bad choice off the menu . Bar cocktails where great and nice atmosphere

We are frequent diners at The Barn for multiple reasons including the convenience for us as we live in Williamstown, for the consistent quality of our meals, for the variety of options on the menu, and for the polite and efficient staff. I will add also that the Inn is always clean including the restrooms, an important detail for any restaurant. The parking is a little limited so at times one needs to park in the town parking lot which is very close by. All in all, a pleasant and positive experience which we will continue to patronize.

All of our entrees were cooked to perfection. I had the trout, which was moist and with the broccoli rabe a nice contrast of its bite and slight bitterness. Others at our table raved about the duck and the braised ribs. As for our desserts, they were soooo good (I wish I could remember the name of the chocolate dusted creamy confection several of us had). Our waitperson was attentive and everything arrived at the right temperature. We were there from 6:30 until almost 9:00 and thoroughly enjoyed our whole evening in a festive mood. Many thanks!

Our experience was outstanding. The restaurant was beautiful, inside and out. Warm greetings and welcomes. Our sever, Caitlin, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made amazing recommendations, which we followed and were very pleased with. She was also very personable and friendly. Food was delicious and flavorful, prices were excellent and reasonable. I am very happy to say we will be returning soon.

We experienced the usual exceptional service at the Barn last weekend. The staff happily moved our reservation time created a cozy spot for our party of 4 and served delicious appetizers and meals from their expanded menu.

Beautiful restaurant in a great part of town. The menu is veggie friendly and the food is prepared and served creatively. Our server was friendly and helpful. Prices are very fair. We look forward to visiting in every season.

We went for brunch on a Sunday. It was busy but not too crowded but they must have been understaffed in the front as the two servers and the host were running around a lot, took a while to take our order, kept apologizing. We didn't understand what the issue was - we've been to more understaffed restaurants that performed better - we were more amused than bothered by it and did not inquire as to what the problem was or wasn't. The food was very good to excellent and it seems the kitchen was functioning well as it came out quickly. A little on the pricey side for what it was, but no complaints. If we went again we would go for dinner before passing ultimate judgement.
We tried to have brunch at 1:00 last Sunday and were told (rather rudely) that they were only allowing guests with reservations. The restaurant was empty. Many available tables yet we were turned away. Embarrassing. Won’t be back soon.

Took my sisters here last year, terrible service. Returned one year later, nothing changed. You wait forever to get a table and there's plenty of seating. You are ignored by staff, difficult just to get a drink. Why am I paying $18 for eggs and hash and I have to chase down waist staff and ask for silverware. Reservations aren't taken for brunch, yet there were tables reserved.
