Always lovely to eat or have cocktails at the Barn. Lovely landscaping for a walk about the building. Make sure that you are very specific about your orders. If you want it Medium Rare emphasize that. Like all restaurants, they over dress the salads, so ask for dressing on the side. Their burgers are outstanding as well as the truffle fries!
Very pleasant waitstaff was very nice and helpful
Food was amazing
The waiter had a cold attitude and seemed tired. Pita came out burnt, but received a fresh serving promptly after notifying the server. The short rib was tough and its jus was very oily. The 'peach gastrique' on the pork chop was off and did not pair well with the meat at all. It was a very busy night, so they were possibly overwhelmed.
Great friendly service, good food, lovely atmosphere. Celebrated a milestone anniversary. Bartender Greg and waitress Diane made everything feel special.
Not your typical hotel restaurant. Food was excellent, service was friendly and prompt. It's a little pricey, but it was worth it.
The food was great though one main dish came a lot later than the others. Always a good place to eat!
Excellent food and service. Special Bibb Wedge salad was amazing. Steak was great as well. Wonderful evening!
A beautiful place to have dinner with every staff member making you feel welcome from the start with being seated, the server Shannon was wonderful and knowledgeable, along with all the other staff that do their jobs well. All the food was delicious, and I as a vegetarian had creative options to choose from.
This is a lovely location and while the menu has fewer items than most places, the food itself is quality. The home fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly and we even saw a local celebrity: Linda Conway was attending, perhaps hosting, a private event next door. This is definitely a fancy enough place to take a nice date or celebrate an anniversary.
We went for a birthday luncheon. Excellent food! Service was a bit slow but Stacey was wonderful. We have been there multiple times and will keep going!

Always excellent! Mocktail margarita was perfect, great pasta bolognese, and a perfectly tender pork chop. We love the ambience. David was our server this time, and was attentive and engaging. One of our favorite places.
Reliably good food, excellent service. Comfortable seating, and a nice place to unwind and relax.
As soon as we walked in snide remark from waiter to host””Do you guys have a reservation? Place was empty. Sat down order two burgers medium well , not red ! One comes right wife’s was rare! Told him 2x not red did not mention bacon Wife is Muslim bacon on both! We took it off and let it go. Took one bite rare! Call waiter , tries to say we ordered it rare but he will take it back! Uncomfortable situation one has food one don’t! I split my burger with my wife. Guy comes back now burger is massacred thanks to being on the grill twice! Still rare didn’t eat it paid the bill and left ! Were visiting Williams College Wife is Africain I am American ! Snide remarks! Bad service , paid for food we didn’t eat!
Traveling around Massachusetts and added the Williams Inn for the first time. The Barn was excellent for dinner for two consecutive nights and we can say that we will be back. The Inn and restaurant were both excellent in every way.
Our group of moms who have known each other for 30 years had a really enjoyable dinner together at the Barn. Jesse was the perfect server who knew intuitively how much/little we needed her. Food was universally excellent—and we ordered all different dishes—and we were accommodated around the shared salad and apps perfectly. Since we gathered from all 4 corners of the county plus Vermont, the Barn turned out to be a fantastic venue. And one of our group got a sneak preview of the beautiful facilities that her daughter is considering for her wedding. Brava Barn!
