We were drawn to the barn kitchen and bar because it had clearly marked gluten-free entrees and as well appeared to be high quality restaurant. The wait staff were very familiar with gluten-free needs and they also had an allergist food sensitivity specialist on staff that talked to us. The food came out as quickly as we needed. I had the parsnip soup as an appetizer and my wife had the arugula salad. Both were very tasty and fresh. For entrees I had the coconut vegetable curry...
The service is always friendly warm and personal. There are some outstanding dishes. Then spring rolls are yummy...the crabcake is too bready. Casual and excellent is the tomato bisque and grilled cheese . Most of the entrees are very good.,
After reviewing the menu we decided Brunch was the way to go. We split the Crab Cake as an appetizer which was incredibly delicious. It came with a grilled asparagus and a spicy aïoli. Fantastic! Then we each had a Burger, and I had Truffle fries. The service was great. Our cushioned seats were great, by the windows.
