Great pastries, sandwiches, and service!
Genuinely the most pretentious establishment I have ever step foot in. Get ready for NYC prices multipled by not just slow, but inattentive service. Tries to justify prices by using local products- well, it doesn’t account for the sub-mediocre quality. No matter what I buy (i.e. a bottled drink and coffee cake) the total price blows my mind. Don’t be fooled by lack of pictures; I’ve unfortunately been here too many a time as a Williams student. So happy to never have to come here again. Do better.
Locals know: the best coffee in Williamstown is at Spring Street Market & Café. It may not look like a go-to café at first glance (mini mart, deli, bakery, café all in one), but it’s my favorite cup in town.
The service is always warm, fast, and friendly—another reason I keep coming back. The space is small but cozy, and often has more seating than you’d expect, making it an easy place to linger if you are meeting for coffee or a chat. The food menu is simple but solid—good ingredients, generous portions, and made with care.
This is the kind of spot locals know and love—familiar, unfussy, and consistently good.
Small bakery/deli also selling general goods

I got “The Burrito” and it was absolutely delicious. The staff is so friendly and the price was very fair. I will definitely come back

Great food and location. Get lunch and walk around to all stores on Main Street. You’re going to love it.
Spring Street Market and Cafe offers good sandwiches and has very fast service! The Turkey BLT was decent, good ingredients but on the pricier side for not coming with chips or fries. Where they really shined was in their service, since our order was ready for pickup right at the time we scheduled despite the cafe being extremely busy. If you’re looking for a quick bite, check out Spring Street Market and Cafe!

Great spot for breakfast and lunch. Everything is fresh and well-made, a favorite being the sesame chicken salad. Highly recommend!

This has become my go-to for breakfast and lunch in town. The staff are wonderful, the food is always delicious and they have lots of options to choose from for beverages. The small market attached is nice to grab and go, if you’re in a hurry. Great atmosphere, too, with indoor and outdoor seating.

Came here for a coffee and sandwiches during a college visit - both were great. If my daughter decides to apply to Williams, the Nutella banana bread may have been the swing factor.

Nice menu and good coffee. Food is served on real dishware, not paper. Now if only coffee could also be served in a real mug or cup. The environment will thank you and I will, too.Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner ( but it is Saturday afternoon towards closing time).
