Run don’t walk
Better than almost any Mexican food place at this price point.
Better than 95% of Mexican food places I’ve ever been to.

We got flautas (not on the menu…). It was delicious, the attention to detail with the presentation was incredible, and the customer service is everything you can hope for.

We were on our way to Mass MOCA with our 5 grandchildren ages 5-1/2 to 14 and decided to stop in Williamstown for lunch. We found Tony's Sombrero and walked in. We were warmly greeted by Hector, who did whatever he could to make us comfortable and accommodate the children in their small but comfortable dining area. They had steady walk-in and take-out traffic and once the food came, we could see why. The 5-1/2 year old ate most of a mushroom cheese quesadillo (also come with spinach), others had beef tacos, chicken tornados, and salads with chicken or salmon. Everything was fresh and tasty. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

Restaurantji Recommends
We came here for dinner after work and were thrilled to find patio seating out behind the restaurant in the courtyard. We shared the chips and guacamole, which were delicious and a generous portion. Obviously, it was made to order since it was so fresh. I got the Pollo Con Mole and was blown away at the complex flavor of the mole, which I’m sure is their personal recipe. The chocolate and the heat come out in the end as a major bonus. My husband got the Carne Asada Tacos and loved them, especially the chunks of pineapple in them. We will definitely be regulars here and look forward to getting to know the beautiful family that runs the restaurant.
Dietary restrictions: I have a soy sensitivity and found out that they fry in canola oil, which makes me so happy that I can have the chips.

Tony’s Sombrero is a family run local Williamstown business. Chef Hector Palestino and his wife Emma makes yummy wonderful food. All the classics cheesy nachos, big burritos & the best mole in the Berkshires. Great for Williams students and visitor to the mountains.

Perfectly layered nachos are a treasure chest of flavors. Crisp fish tacos are light and savory. Warm, professional service. Space is a little cramped.
