Today was turning into a bad day after a few things happened this morning. I was driving through Wilmington around lunch for work and said you know maybe a nice pulled pork sandwich would turn the day around. Not only did the sandwich turn the day around but how pleasant and polite the staff were made things a little better as well. Thank you guys for the delicious food and being so kind. 10/10 always recommend you guys to people

Daaam good BBQ!! I was in the area, but not looking for BBQ. I seen the sign and being from the south I had to try. The moink is pretty dam good if you can't decide between pork or beef. If you're in area give them a try. Definitely a good spot!

Tried Code 1 for the first time and it was fantastic!! Firstly, as soon as u walk in the door that delicious smokey smell hits you right in the face. Secondly, before we even ordered our food we chatted with the owners/staff and everyone is so friendly! We got brisket, pulled pork, and pork belly and everything was amazing. Ive had a lot of brisket (traveling around texas) and this was truly delicious. Pulled pork was scrumptious as well. But the pork belly was out of this world, it was almost caramelized or something. Not to mention, All the sides were fantastic, we got the cheesy grist, coleslaw and beans. And coleslaw seems like such a small side item in comparison to the flavorful meats but Im super picky about my coleslaw and I really loved this one! The owner was so, so nice and chatted with us all about his process and how the business started. Hes a great guy with a ton of passion for what he does and you can tell he really appreciates the customers who walk through his door. And we appreciate him! Definitely go check this place out.

Everything was good but the beef rib is insane. We didn’t get to try the pork ribs or pork belly because they were sold out but we re definitely coming back earlier next time to snag some. Owners are super friendly and hard working veterans, all the sides were delicious. The cornbread was moist, the pickled onions were chefs kiss, the mash had nice chunks in it that we love, and the collards were tasty too.

First time ordering, service was friendly and food was fantastic. Lean brisket was tender and perfect, not dry; pulled pork was super tasty. Ribs were a big hit too. Texas bbq sauce right mix of sweet and heat. Counting the days until we can go again.
We had a coupon and ordered the pork rib platter and 2 sides. Platter = 3 ribs, horrible mashed potatoes and some unfavorable Cole slaw. We do not recommend this place!
