The menu has a great selection of breakfast staples and diner favorites. I had the corned beef hash with eggs and home fries—everything was cooked just right and came out hot. Portions are generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. Coffee is solid and always kept full.
Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that while everything was good, it wasn’t particularly standout or unique—but that’s not a knock. If you’re looking for dependable, well-made comfort food in a relaxed setting, Country Chef delivers exactly that. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Ordered an omelet with scali toast for take out. Realized when I got home it was bacon, eggs, & wheat toast. Called them to tell them I was coming back for the omelet. Got it, but still the wrong toast. They were not busy. I guess they just don't comfirm phone orders are correct before handing them customers. Omelet good. Homefries bland. Don't know how the scali toast is! I will not be returning.

I had a wonderful New England Breakfast at Country Chef Restaurant. The portions are substantial, and my Denver omelette was exceptionally delicious – the eggs were perfectly soft and full of flavor, and the home fries were equally tasty. The buttered toast with three jelly options was a nice touch. Everyone in our party was very satisfied with their meals, and the restaurant has a lovely, cozy ambiance. Highly recommend checking it out!

Service was nonexistent. Server gave us wrong beverages, spilled juice and coffee, then gave US a dirty look for asking to get our actual order. Blueberry pancakes were awful. Server much more interested in blabbing about politics, sitting with her friends in booth next to us and insulting those who don't agree with her conservative views, than actually providing normal service. Its a free country but why insult your paying customers??? She then went behind counter to watch videos on her phone and after 10 minutes, we had to go up there to request our check. Unbelievably rude to customers. Not recommended.

Perfect cup of coffee and best blueberry pancakes around!! We were seated immediately and staff brought over a highchair for our 1 year old right away. The staff was incredibly friendly and the whole vibe was relaxed Saturday brunch; surrounded by other families and laughter. We will absolutely be going back soon!
Steak and eggs was very underwhelming. I was expecting steak tips like most places offer and instead got a tough piece of meat that I couldn’t even identify. The specialty pancake was amazing, fluffy, well plated and delicious. The one waitress seemed as if she didn’t want to be there.

I’ve been by this place a hundred times and finally stopped in. What a gem. Nice clean place, brightly decorated. Waitress came right over with coffee, and came back promptly to take our order. I’m a big fan of corned beef hash, from the can, they have it, and it was cooked exactly the way l want it. Food came out quick, piping hot and the coffee is delicious. Love this place! Our new go-to breakfast place!

In a family setting if someone walks in your “house” you at least greet them or acknowledge their existence. Food didn’t come out correct, mug was dirty and you have a rattlesnake for a waitress. We all have our bad days at work but something tells me everyday is a bad day based on other reviews and experiences. Would fit in perfectly on my Construction Crew.
