Local place. A lot of friends people. Food was better than expected. Including dropped eggs with plenty of yolks for bread dipping. Also, real rye bread and super home fries. Person next to me says muffins are good. Menu is pretty good for small place. Prices could be lower, but not high by any means. Staff friendly and hard working, always on the move. Definitely try them if you are in the area.
Kid-friendliness: No sweat. Family place.

We just can't quit this place.* We love the staff. They've been there longer than the most regular of regulars and seem like family (some really are). You just feel welcome whether it's your first time or you've been coming for years.* We dig the hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. There's no view. There are no candles. There are no tablecloths. It's a place you go to for excellent food, no more no less.* We adore the food. It's not haute cuisine. The menu is short and is mostly eggs, breakfast meats, and starch. But oh how good it all is.

A no frills local diner with great service and food. Very friendly staff. The cheese omelette was great along with the sausage eggs bacon and great rye toast.

Breakfast is great. Good portions for a reasonable price. Lunch, not so much.You will leave hungry. Club sandwiches are tiny. They come with like 9 fries, literally. Also, oil they fry in tasted funny. And, I ordered a side of fries for $3 and there was probably 25 fries. Will only go for breakfast now.

Good quick food. This place is a little hole in the wall, but that's what makes it great. All women run. Good service, attentive but not overbearing. The food was delicious, French toast dusted with cinnamon sugar, mmm.
