Food was incredible and presentation was great. A bit expensive for the area but I’m from Boston area and wasn’t phased by the pricing. 10/10 recommend
I get that this place wants to be high end but until they get a well trained staff it will never be. Drinks took a long time to come out even though there were not a lot of people. The shrimp cocktail was chewy. The au poivre steak was thin and not prepared well. The bar area gets very loud and is not separated from the dining area, so if you're there for an intimate date or event, it will be ruined by drunk people screaming (they were literally yelling down the length of the bar) the entire time. I get that you can't control the clientele, but come on, that is not an upscale experience. Took a long, long time for the bill and when it arrived, you pay more to use a debit card, which wouldn't have irritated me so much had I been told upfront about this fee--I was not. Won't be back.
Great food and service recommend and super nice area
Dan makes terrific cocktails! Quality food.
If you’re in Winchendon, you’ve got to check it out. It’s one of those spots you’ll keep coming back to!
Steak tips were good, habanero salmon was also pretty good but the rice was way undercooked. Drinks are extremely sweet, but overall was nice.
A very nice spot, plenty of space, friendly staff and most importantly excellent food. A quality steak house hidden in western mass. Enjoyed a very tasty appetizer I had not heard of before, tostones rellenos.
Ask for Max!!!!! he is a fantastic waiter! 10 stars for Max
Second time here. Great food, cool atmosphere. Prices seem to be a little high, but you get what you pay for, and the meals have always been perfect. Service is a little slow sometimes, but I wouldn't let that keep anyone away
First time trying. Apps were delicious - tater tots in some type of sauce and prime rib flatbread both excellent! Went downhill from there - one out of 4 entrees was good (braised short ribs although overpriced). Brown butter scallop meal was not edible - first of all was cold and the scallops were tiny and burnt and tasted like came out of a store bought freezer … habanero salmon meal was very dry. Drinks ok … service was good as waitstaff was very nice … entrees took a very long time to arrive maybe kitchen backed up .. They did take our scallop meals off the bill so was handled well as we didn’t eat them. Hopefully improves and might give it another shot for apps and maybe burgers and pass on the underwhelming entrees.

Very classy place love it
Food was fresh and DELICIOUS!! Ribeye was fantastic, and Bruschetta Chicken was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. Dan is awesome, ask for him when you go!
Dan is the key to a great experience. We love bellying up to the bar to feel at home . He is our ambassador for El Toro! We were just having drinks and the prime rib appetizer was outstanding. We were having a tough day and he made a difference in our day… OWNERS ! Dan needs a raise !!
