Nice little place. Good Italian food, great service. More tables than space. A little pricey.Parking: Metered parking out front, with a larger free lot around back maybe 125 yards away. From the lot, there's a backdoor entrance but it's no longer used.

This is the restaurant I first took my son Edmund after meeting him for the first time 5 years ago! Will never ever be more nostalgic. Take him here and Olive Garden every year to remember the first time we met. love this place!

Had an excellent gnocchi dish. Prosciutto appetizer was one of the best I’ve had.

I attended a birthday party at A Tavola on Saturday night and experienced a delicious meal. The service ,as always, was attentive to every detail from cocktails to cake and cannoli. The appetizers included Roasted Egglpant,Speck,Lobster Bisque, and Insalata. That was followed by a choice of (my favorite)Parmesan Ravioli, Ribeye, Swordfish, or Ragu Bolognese. And for the partygoers that still had room...dessert consisted of Birthday cake, Cannoli and cookies! I would highly recommend A Tavola and all it has to offer for your next birthday/holiday party!

A Tavola is an exquisite hidden treasure that absolutely deserves a full five-star rating. It's not just a place to try once; it's a restaurant that deserves a permanent spot in your regular dining rotation. The culinary creations here are nothing short of spectacular, showcasing the exceptional talents of the chef from the very first appetizer to the final course. Unlike many Italian eateries that may cut corners, A Tavola consistently delivers excellence in every dish. Two absolute must-tries are the Bolognese and the Short Rib. These dishes are truly outstanding and will leave your taste buds in awe. If you visit and skip the antipasti, you're missing out on a delightful part of the culinary experience. Once you dine here, I can assure you it will quickly become one of your top go-to dining destinations.

I loved the atmosphere, and the staff was short handed but extremely attentive to all tables. The antipasto was goo but I would have liked a little more choices.I loved my chicken dish, bread was delicious and a friend had bolognese which was very good.Great wine selection.

I was there for a baby shower. Small but very quaint. The service was great and staff attentive. We were served a wonderful, unique selection of appetizers along with a great meal! Would highly recommend this restaurant!

Very disappointed in our meals. Bolognese Ragu was tasteless, no sauce, just crumbled meat. Chicken al Mattone was supposed to be moist but had zero flavor and vegetables with it were inedible, undercooked and no flavor. Only the bread and child's mac and cheese were edible. Draft beer was $10, entrees $30 and they upcharge 3% kitchen fee. Would not mind if food was even half decent. Don't waste your money when other options around.

Love the variety and the fact that the menu changes but mostly the people who work here are great.

Recently hosted my university graduation celebration at A Tavola for my close family and friends visiting from out-of-town and we couldn't have been more thrilled. Chef Joe's expertise throughout each step of the process of planning through execution truly made the evening so special - one I will be cherishing for many years to come! Our server Andrew guided us through the menu, providing insightful recommendations and thoughtful service. The level of professionalism and warmth the whole team demonstrated is truly head-and-shoulders above the rest in the area. The team even so kindly wrote a very sweet card congratulating me!We LEFT Boston to come to this gem in Winchester! (side note: my guests weren't burdened with trying to find parking - there is abundant street parking in addition to a lot behind the restaurant.)It has been several weeks and my guests are still remarking about the wonderful time we had - do not miss the antipasti, the burrata, the unique wine list, or the fresh pasta! We especially loved how the menu is locally sourced, if not made in-house. Our server’s wine recommendations were also a high point - things I would never think to try!Joe, thank you for making our day so special! We absolutely loved our time there - the fresh pasta, delicious cocktails, and elegant ambiance makes this gem of a restaurant my absolute favorite. We cannot wait to be back!

Used to get the burratta. It’s different now. Not even bread with it. $16 for this? Lower the price or do

This restaurant is outstanding! Excellent fresh pasta dishes and delicious cocktails. Winchester is not in my general vicinity, but would love to go back at some point. Great staff and modern, rustic decor. Plus, a patio!

Delicious dinner for two! We split a burrata salad & each enjoyed an entrée: gorgonzola ravioli & Grandma's cod, Greek-style. Save room for dessert! Smores & salted caramel gelato.
