Visiting Winchester from out of state. Saw this place as we were getting off our train. Our server was super nice! Our food was quick and delicious. Great environment. Definitely will be back if we visit this area again.

Came in wed night for a few drinks. Had some mellow live rock music. It was great. Great Woody ambiance with some great lighting. It must be amazing with some snowfall and a Guinness. Nice big windows. Ill be back.

The gluten free bun was awesome, super moist. I got the Ruben and it was minced meat not slices but it was pretty good. My partner got the SW chicken wrap and said it was pretty good.

Very slow service.

I like this place. Good food, ambiance, and service. So I call and request a table for five to celebrate a birthday and passing the bar exam. I’m not cheap, they just really like this place. I spoke to the Manager/ Owner and was told they only take reservations for parties of eight. Unfortunately dude was programmed to say no. I told him the circumstances and celebrations. Personally I would be proud that a family wanted to dine at a tavern for passing the BAR exam. I am also quite sure if a Winchester regular had requested, the answer would be “yes, I can make an exception for you” - Anyways, on to @mastro’s (my favorite) I just write this because people are lacking in common sense these days. It’s not an occupancy violation, and I gtd would spend $500 plus for one table for 1.5 hours. Server misses out on an easy $100 gratuity.

Really solid tavern food (excellent burgers with all the toppings you want and even fresh jalapeños) and a good selection of beers. Quick service and typical small-town charme. You won't be disappointed.

Solid burger, would’ve been 5/5 with the option of a house special sauce and actual pickle slices rather than a single huge pickle spear! Regardless, the patty was juicy and well cooked, and service was friendly. Was really excited to try the eggplant fries, but they needed a fair bit of salt added to bring out their full flavor.

Atmosphere and wait staff are great just wish our food was as stellar, ordered Cajun blackened caprese sandwich which obviously whoever created the recipe to this dish doesn't have any idea what Cajun blackened is, this had little to no seasong and no flour or breading so it was like a grilled chicken sandwich with a pinch of Cajun seasoning, burger seemed fine at first but rather chewy for a fresh never frozen burger, onion rings were alright rather light on the batter perhaps this is their decision to make it crispier and not so greasy? Fries seemed fresh but did not save the rest of the meal.

Came here for lunch and was good for what we were looking for at the time. The staff were amazing and extremely attentive. Food wasn’t worth the price. The caprese sandwich fell apart immediately from huge tomatoe slices, the salad was mid.

This was my first time here. The server Clara was awesome. The BLTs were excellent. 3 of us got different sides with our BLTs. I chose coleslaw. I got food poisoning. I blame the coleslaw. It was warm. Probably sitting unrefrigerated or something.

Really good pub atmosphere with some nice drafts and a team approach to waiting on tables. Unfortunately the food is dreadful. Buffalo-hiney cauliflower bites were buffaloless and had no crispy crunch. Same with the "crunchy" brussel sprouts. The Cajun chicken sandwich couldn't be picked up because the unnecessary balsamic dressing had already saturated the bottom of the bun. Fries were floppy and tepid and unlike my wife's sandwich, no lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle on the side. Veggie burger was unappealing to look at and more so to eat. I would not order food here again but would be fine having a Guinness at the bar.
