What really sells this place is how clean it is and how nice the decor is. if you are lucky to get a seat up above it’s beautiful. However we had an hour wait to get a table. would come again!

I must confess, I was utterly bamboozled. If, like me, you found yourself seduced by those dreadfully stylish photographs on Google, then one’s dining fortunes are unlikely to prove terribly auspicious. This bustling yet decidedly cosy little nook boasts a rather agreeable ambience, and its beehive-inspired layout – complete with those hexagonal nooks – can comfortably accommodate a pair of diners. Rather amusingly, though, if one labours under the delusion that this is a genuinely authentic Japanese establishment, well, we’ve all been jolly well hoodwinked. I must concede that the Chinese do possess a formidable knack for such ventures. Having sampled authentic Japanese fare only sparingly, I’m hardly qualified to pronounce this one truly bona fide. The menu is most user-friendly, replete with vivid illustrations for effortless selection – though, caveat emptor, not entirely accurate; the ‘Super Bowl’ turns out to be merely a bowl of noodles. Do think twice before ordering, old chap! A curious phenomenon: China, with its extraordinarily rich culinary heritage, seems awfully keen these days on opening Japanese restaurants. Is it a lack of confidence in one’s own gastronomic traditions, or simply that Japanese fare has a certain je ne sais quoi? Perhaps it’s merely my fancy, but the Japanese do appear rather more devoted to preserving their cultural traditions – once they’ve mastered something from China, they cherish it dearly. No offence, I’m just saying. How droll, then, that they scarcely bother opening Chinese restaurants in return! Do enjoy your meal, nonetheless!

I had a fantastic experience at Kyuramen. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was excellent from start to finish.
The number 2 Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu was incredible. The broth was rich and savory with the perfect depth of flavor. The number 7 Sapporo Miso Ramen was equally impressive, offering a comforting and earthy base that was perfectly balanced. To top it all off, the Thai iced tea was creamy and refreshing. It served as the ideal sweet contrast to the savory ramen bowls. Everything arrived hot and beautifully presented. Kyuramen consistently delivers a high quality dining experience and I will definitely be back soon.
