We enjoyed another visit to the restaurant and were pleased that they allowed us to sit in the more private back area so we could enjoy conversations (one in the party has a hearing problem). The service was excellent and the food arrived in the appropriate time. I ordered salmon which was a very large portion. It was delicious. However, I would have liked it to be served with a sauce of some sort. Though it was tasty, it could have used a little more to add an additional flavor. We will return.
Very noisy. Food was fantastic! Large servings. Wish I had the discipline to eat only half and bring home the other half, but it was too yummy! Wish you had a hazy New England IPA on tap.
We eat at Lucia often. Food is always good. It is a very noisy dining room. We love the better weather, when outdoor dining us an option. Outdoor seating is on a somewhat busy street, but it is still quieter than indoor room.
Super loud

We went for our friends' rehearsal dinner and it was everything that we wanted in a fantastic Italian restaurant. The meals were delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, the staff was extremely helpful and the drinks were well-made. A fantastic experience!
The chicken parm with eggplant on top is a seriously good dish. The meatballs are amazing, too.

Lucia is a great north shore(ish) spot for North End quality Italian food. The food is always excellent, the servers are always personable, and the value is always good. I've been for both lunch and dinner, which feature the same menu. Lucia is consistently good, and consistently rewarding. The portions are large, so consider that you'll bring half of your entree home when factoring in the cost of the dish.

Food is inconsistent . Average Italian food . You want good solid Italian food go to cafe italia in Wakefield
We had a fabulous experience there! They had a special dish last night, eggplant cannoli, which was beyond delicious. I asked if it could be part of the regular menu! Serviceperson was very attentive and friendly. The manager gave us a sample of the special "cabernet" reduction gelato that he was making...it was DELICIOUS! Can't wait to go back there SOON! Thank you for a great experience!!!
If you love fresh Italian pasta, this place is for you. All the best fresh ingredients were used across the 5 of us eating a late lunch. Each meal was molto delizioso!

Lovely, authentic Italian restaurant. I love their eggplant parm, the closest to my grandmother's that I have had at a restaurant! Other dishes are delicious as well. Pleasant waitstaff, nice atmosphere. Recommended!

Recently had a disappointing dinner here.
Terrible service. We waited a LONG time for our server to come to our table even though people who were seated after us were getting attention (we had a different server). This continued throughout the meal.
At one point I had to go in search of our server because, even asking other servers for our server, he never came and neither did our food. I was literally walking around the restaurant trying to find him or a manager or anyone.
Once I finally found him, he seemed to realize he had completely forgotten about us (I think he never even put our order in) and apologized BUT he continued to be nowhere to be found for the rest of the meal.
The food was bland and underwhelming -- not terrible but not at all up to what I would expect. (I had lunch here once a few months ago and had a fine experience, which is why I went back).
I live in town and was very sad to have such a disappointing experience at one of the few restaurants in our town. There is a lot to choose from in neighboring towns. I won't be going back to Lucia's.
