I really want them to open a store in Texas. I haven't had a bed muffin here. Probably the best muffins I've ever had.

The muffins are delicious, coffee is mediocre, service is awful! Rude staff, especially the bratty teenagers and adults who work there. Their mannerism is awful, you’re in the customer service business ladies, let’s not be rude to paying customers who tip as well!

Super soft and fluffy muffins.
Stopped by after a walk in the Middlesex Fells Reservation nearby. There aren’t many bakeries or coffee shops in the area, and one of my colleagues from Medford had mentioned this place for its muffins. We came in the afternoon, and most of the muffin flavors were already gone, but we still managed to grab the Gingerbread, Birthday Cake, Strawberry Shortcake, and Chocolate Dreams.
Nothing mind-blowing, but for $13.25 for four muffins with buttercream fillings, it felt like a solid deal. Most were filled with French buttercream, which I obviously prefer over American, so they paired well with the light, fluffy muffin base. My favorites were the Strawberry Shortcake and the Gingerbread, and I’ll definitely come back to try the Boston Cream next time.

Food was mediocre, but the staff was rude and it felt more like a gift shop than a bakery. The store literally had more little ornaments and souvenirs than actual food.
My child accidentally dropped a small glass bead while we were waiting and they asked us to pay for the entire tree it was on. We did so as a matter of principle and because it is a local business, but felt very taken advantage of and will not be returning or recommending it to anyone.

Wonderful little place! All kinds of muffins and cute gingerbread cookies
I’ve been here several times and it’s just a strange environment for a bakery. None of the staff seems happy to help or answer questions. This is particularly troubling because none of the muffins have labels. So you have to ask a completely disinterested staff member what flavor each muffin is.

Always a great experience here. Muffins are a little pricey, but worth the trip.

Service was non-existent due to one clerk having a ten+ minute conversation with a lady about instagram. The one clerk who helped me was nice, but it was very frustrating knowing the other clerk could have helped me and I could have been done and on my way ten minutes earlier. 1:30 8/19/25

Can be busy at times. The people working behind the counter are usually young and appear to be still in school. The experience varies based on their attitude but most look frazzled due to the hectic pace. Most manage a smile and are good workers. The food is excellent every time. I have been a fan of their muffins since I grew up in Winchester and have been going to this location since at least 2000. I’ve worked on Cape Cod and now western MA and have picked up food for the office for Monday morning after visiting my parents who still reside in town. There are many fans down the Cape and in the Amherst area who have never been to the shop but sing its praises due to the quality of the offerings. Atmosphere is great inside but parking lot is small and awkward to enter during busy times as the light on the intersection can cause cars to backup and block the entrance leading to gridlock.

I’ve loved this place since I was a little girl and the recipe has been the same, from what I can tell, this whole time. Their sugar cookies are the best in the world I’ve NEVER tried sugar cookies that measure up. However I have one suggestion! Please stop using the heavily dyed sugar Crystal sprinkles on top of the sugar cookies. Not because I’m anti dye or anything; it’s because it stains really badly. And the stain lasts forever on my lips. I’ve essentially had to take a Brillo pad to my lips so I don’t walk out of the house looking like I’m wearing green lipstick!! Don’t get me wrong I love the crunch of the sugar crystals on top- I just wish there was a clear non dyed option so I can enjoy these cookies without looking funny afterwards lol.
