Party of four and not one of us was disappointed. Two of us had the chicken parm, one had chicken ziti broccoli Alfredo, and one veal Marsala. I love being able to have a take home portion because the serving was generous. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return for either dine-in or take-out. Service was quick and courteous and the atmosphere was good. Nice local restaurant.

After years of searching i've finally found the BEST pizza in Winthrop!! It was so good. For my first take out order from Cafe Valenciano I ordered the meatball pizza. It was perfectly sauced, cheesy, crunchy and garlicky. I will absolutely become a repeat customer.

Maybe it's me ...never heard putting onions in chicken marsala.. could not even taste the marsala . Salad was brown on the bottom. Chicken marsala is not on the takeout menu but other chicken dinners on the takeout menu roughly price at $14.95 I paid $26 & change for a meal I didn't enjoy..

We had a very nice meal. My wife and I had the Veal Marsala and the Veal Spinach entrees rrespectively. The food was delicious; the portions were large; and the service was ok. It was busy, and we were glad we made a reservation. I definitely recommend dining here.

Absolutely love this place! Best Italian food around. Our must visit whenever we are back in Boston from NYC. My husband says it they make the best Veal Parmigiana ever. Great service and simple surroundings. Definitely 5 stars all around!

Went there several times pre-covid. It was a great little BYOB find and the food at the time was fantastic. We returned as many of the current reviews seemed to echo our experiences pre-covid. The setting needs a major redo but it is across from the beach so I guess they think they can ignore the interior. Wasn't the cleanest place I've ever seen. The waitress was a hard worker and very sweet. We had made a reservation and wondered why there were only a few people in the restaurant on a Sunday at 4 p.m. (normally, the line would be down the street--warning signal?). We ordered an asparagus and proscuitto appetizer (proscuitto wrapped around asparagus). Nice presentation BUT much of the proscuitto was stale. We told the wait staff and she asked if we wanted something else. She said the proscuitto was freshly sliced (highly doubtful). We said no, but we did pay for it. We tried bites of two other pieces, one stale (i.e., not fresh), another barely passable. We pushed that aside as this was looking good. Meal arrived. Veal marsala, barely luke warm, and half of the pasta was stone cold, the remainder was luke warm. So weird. Other dish arrived and it looked steamy...it was a fruitti de mar BUT the mussels and clams were overcooked (dry and rubbery), stuck to the shells, ugh. Very pricey for a pitiful experience. I doubt we will ever return as there as so many other wonderful restaurants to visit in the area. Very disappointing.
