It took us a while to finally try ferrante's and I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised. Had Italian food the first night that was excellent. Had the swordfish shop that was beyond my expectations. The staff are so friendly and nice and the place is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend.

Amazing food, service, ambiance, & view. I had a chicken Buffalo wrap with onion ring. The onion rings were crunchy, excellent!

Edit: I was never refunded and waited a full 10 days before I contacted the restaurant for a resolution. I would have been credited by that point had they issued the refund. My husband wasn't offered to have his food made and I called 4 times between Sunday and Wednesday. No one bothered to call me back until an hour after I filed a chargeback on Thursday. I understand a mistake with the online ordering system I do not understand why no one bothered to call me back or offered to make the food we paid for.Waited 14 days for a refund and finally had to issue a charge back with my bank. We had been to this restaurant multiple times since it opened. My husband ordered takeout on a Friday night using their online ordering. He went to pick up the order and they said they never recieved the order because the online ordering was down. They didn't offer to make his food he was just told they were very busy and he wouldn't be charged for his order even though the charge was pending in our account. Thankfully we had the extra money available so he could dine elsewhere because a lot of people dont have that luxury. 10 days later the charge was still there totaling over 40 dollars for a pasta and salad. I called to have the charge removed and there was no manager available but I was told would recieve a call back. I called back again just after close and was told the manager left already but they would call me back Monday morning because the manager planned on stopping in to the restaurant even though they were closed. I called in the afternoon to see if I could reach anyone and left a message. I called back Wednesday when they reopened and still couldn't get a manager, the person on the phone took the information and said I would get a call back. Finally Thursday rolls around and I filed a charge back with my bank. An hour after my charge back a manager finally found the time to get a hold of me. At that point my bank had already credited us for the charge back so there was no point in talking to a supervisor. I have no interest in going back to a restaurant that can make a mistake and have you chase them to fix it. Either we never should have been charged or they could have at the very least made his food. It's a shame because I liked this place but I will probably never go back after this experience.

We visited for the first time and had a wonderful lunch. We both had the lobster roll special, one cold and one warm, and it was delicious. Packed with lobster. I had the fries which were plump and lightly fried. Possibly the best fries I have ever had. The onion rings weren't nearly as successful. The place is comfy and the 3 young ladies provided great, friendly service.

Really enjoyed our first visit. The staff are attentive, helpful, and welcoming. It's a small, cozy place. The outside seating looks inviting. Great for family, first day, and date night. Nice atmosphere. Nice addition to Winthrop.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food for a great price… hidden little gem in Winthrop. Definitely worth checking out. Will be back again with friends and family! Dog friendly too :)

The website said to add salad and 2 sides, but when we arrived at the restaurant they did not honor that and only wanted to give one side. They did give us the salads also as we were leaving and the salads were great! One of the sides was literally four pieces of limp tasteless asparagus. The lobster was not fresh. I ordered a Hot lobster roll and a cold lobster roll- both were warm, gross and nearly spoiled. Not only did we have to throw them away, but we had to bring the trash out to the bin because the fishy smell was overwhelming. I have never in all my life had lobster that smelled that fishy.Incredibly disappointed.DC

The food was very good. The inside of the restaurant is small. If you walk along the right side of the building you can enjoy the outdoor seating with a water view. The drinks are very good. The appetizers were tasty as well. Chicken ziti and broccoli with Alfredo sauce was delicious. My friend ordered the lobster chowder but disliked it. The recipe has sweet potatoes in the chowder. Great service.
