Hong Kong Dragon has become me and Gretchen’s (fiancé) go-to spot, and for good reason. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, but what really makes this place special is the people. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, which makes every visit feel like more than just a meal. Out of all the restaurants in Winthrop, this is my favorite.

More Asian, not just Hong Kong/Chinese. We had their hot and sour soup and a house special with green beans and pork. Great food and service. Good wine at a decent price. Couldn't ask for better when you need a Chinese/Asian food fix. Family owned and operated. Lots of locals eating an early dinner there.

I ordered fried rice and lo mein and it’s some of the worst food I’ve ever had. I didn’t know fried rice could be watery. I’m not sure how it this bad but I’d definitely recommend other places before going here. Maybe it was the night I went but I will not be back to find out.

Love, love, love this place. Been going since the 80's & in the other location. Food is great!!! They substitute for u as needed which is great. Very flavorful & yummy. ❤❤

I called at 5:55 PM to order delivery. I was quoted roughly 35 minutes and I understand that sometimes things can get busy and it may take a little bit longer, but the food did not come for an hour and five minutes and I live three streets away. I would’ve picked it up myself, but I have a three year-old with the flu. I called about 40 minutes in and was told maybe another 10 minutes but clearly that was not the case. I just think you need to do better at providing estimate estimated times. If I knew it would take over an hour I would have ordered from somewhere else, and then the food arrived lukewarm.

4 stars for two dishes - salt pepper shrimp and Peking ravioli. Staff is efficient and quick with a friendly hello. Will go back.

Stopped in for a drink mid afternoon. Asked for Captain & Coke with a lime. Not a hard drink order and there was no one else at the bar. I got my drink without a lime. C'mon now. Are you really that disinterested in giving fair customer service.
