Jac’s Café is the ideal small town breakfast/luncheonette. Even with the limited seating, they make it work. They have a huge neighborhood takeout business. I’ve been going here for years and the food has always been fantastic. The service is always friendly and the patrons always respond to each other, including strangers as if you were their neighbor next-door.Their prices are extremely fair and reasonable. This is a great small town gem !

I found Jac's on Yelp and the reviewers weren't wrong! My husband had the Mountain Muffin (which of course I tried) and I had Jac's burrito. So good, so much food, plus the good coffee and a muffin to go.. and all under $20. We've spent more on just coffee. And the people were darling. Just when you come, don't assume it's closed bc you can't see the sign very well. I'm adding a pic so you'll know..

The food was simple... it did not have a good presentation. I was served by a child who did not hold the plate well and touched the food with his fingers.

Jac's has terrific food, friendly ambiance and is priced reasonably. I've been a fan of corned beef hash for over 50 years and Jac's is the best I remember. I occasionally stop by for bagels or muffins. The selection is great and always fresh. Jac's is a hidden gem but worth the drive. I've only had breakfast's there but I suspect the lunch menu is as good.

Thanks, Jac, but I’ll stick with Shoreside when I want a smoothie.Mostly people only review a place when it’s a 5 or 1 star experience, so after sifting through reviews I was not surprised by some who also experienced attitude from staff. Phew! Made me feel a little more sane.I never tried the food, which looks good, because I couldn’t even get past my food order. The manager (yes, manager) was so rude when handing me my order. Not like, blatantly rude…more like a subtle, sarcastic, snarky rude after I *GASP* asked what was in the bag being handed to me, to confirm it was the correct takeout order. Then, after I confronted him and asked why he was so rude, he starts waving goodbye at me (more like, waving me off), as if I wouldn’t detect he was being sarcastic rude on purpose.I don’t complain much or leave reviews usually, but was taken aback by the unnecessary attitude.I returned my takeout order on the spot and got a refund. As I was leaving, I looked back to see the manager (yep, MANAGER!) waving me off (again) and talking about me to the cooks.Weirdly unprofessional. Like, sorry I asked what was in the bag, dude. Yikes. It’s cash only (no obvious signs indicating this), so I guess you’re just supposed to know.I went for a smoothie and couldn’t get one because the blender was broken. Like, ok whatever…I got something else…but a breakfast joint with like 6 smoothies on the menu and then they only have ONE blender? Alrighty…Again, was willing to overlook the broken blender and the cash-only thing, but couldn’t stomach the service.*My conclusion:* I guess they have good food, and those leaving 5 star reviews like it’s the Ritz just kept their mouths shut and had no need to interact with the staff.I’d rather support an establishment who can at least be somewhat friendly. How you treat people should matter.

The best breakfast I had while being in the States. The place has an old soul, like you are going back in time for 30 years. The omlette was very good. But as usuall I can't get a good coffee. Will wait to go back to Europe?? Almost forgot, this place is cash only.

Best breakfast wraps around and the banana hazelnut coffee is perfection. breakfast wrap and a large ice coffee under 10 bucks can’t beat it! I never write reviews but this is the best of the best when it comes to breakfast, prices and customer service.
