The only reason I gave this place three stars instead of four was because they had a very poor selection of beer and bourbon. It looked like most of the taps were not working and they didn’t have a Sam Boston or a Heineken. I ended up getting a Corona light. Light beers aren’t my thing so I ended up switching to Maker’s Mark rocks. Other than a poor beer selection the place is very nicely decorated and the lady who waited on me could not have been nicer. We were there last a couple of years ago and really unimpressed. Surprise! My wife was bored today and said let's try JW's. So we did. They had the best empanadas I ever tasted - they had onions in them and that makes them special. The Oysters were outstanding (my wife loves good oysters raw so this is from her - I think they are snots unless fried) and we also had great calamari and buffalo wings with our cocktails. Nice experience at JW's. Large comfy bar nice bartenders. Good burger and caesar salad with grilled chic. Flatbread marg pizza was fair. Lacked spices. Atmosphere could use some work. But we will be back.
