They are also Snowmobiler friendly they are located on the local trail., when there's snow

My Dad and I went there last night for the king cut prime rib. There was a 40 minute wait which wasn’t exactly ideal, especially since they said they don’t take reservations when I called earlier in the week. Ah well, it happens. The prime rib was good, but for $42 it shouldn’t have been half fat and a giant bone. Still very tasty tho. The sides were very good, service was good, I would go there again but would get something else to eat. Beers were ice cold and atmosphere is above average. Small place and small bar, not my favorite place for dinner, but a fun night out.

The food is always great at Liston’s. We went tonight for drinks, an app and entrees (perfect dirty martinis, soup on a chilly night, fish cakes and low carb chicken parm). Shenna was wonderful. She was very accommodating, personable and friendly. It is refreshing to have a sever who cares. We are lucky to have a great local spot like this in the hilltowns.

Came here for the second day in a row. Service was top notch. Immediately greeted and welcomed by kind authentic people. The food hit the spot. Came out quick, exactly what I hoped for. It's top notch casual dining. If you like Guinness, you get a good pour.

Let me just say we have been to Listons several times in the past Trucks,Bikes, and snowmobile the atmosphere is great especially since the update. I’m not one to complain in fact this is my first ,but I feel that I must , we were there on Sunday, place was busy but not crazy normal Sunday in September got seated right away ordered the drinks then time for the food order and this is where it went south I informed the waitress at the time of our order amongst other things (Liston Burger)and that I can’t have “Seeds” , Order shows up “Seeds” I say I can’t have seeds and I ordered without seeds she says no you didn’t but I can bring you some bread!!! Bread shows up un-toasted and this where it gets to the point of the crappy review . I say can’t you just toast the bottom of another bun so I can have a burger her reply “ The kitchen will get mad” my reply is I don’t care if they get mad I would like to have a burger without seeds because I can’t have them ,you can even charge me for it !!! She’s says the kitchen is too busy for that and they will get mad .So open faced burger it is .I don’t think she understood that kind of position she put the restaurant in or she didn’t care but she certainly didn’t care about what seeds could have caused ,even after I tried to politely inform her of . She just blew us off and went about her business.Will I go back probably because there isn’t much else out that way .maybe it’s because there’s not much else out that way is why they don’t have to care . !! Ether way not the way to do business especially one that serves food. Just saying!!!
