Great restaurant and the food and service was amazing!!
Exceptional fresh food. Pasta made on site, salad perfect. Was there on a very hot day. Had fan but no or insufficient AC. I would definitely return.
Exquisite for taste buds 😋
This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and also by other guests. So we stopped in for lunch. Incredible experience. Crowded, but seated promptly. Friendly staff. Our server, Taylor, was over the top professional, making sure we were treated well. And the food!!! An italian calzone was CRUSHED by my husband and I savored every bite of a meatball sandwich. Lovely sauce, perfect crunchy breads, so much flavor. Told Taylor I wish they would come to our town. Check out Cafe Assisi if you can. Ciao.
Feels like the South End of Boston. Love the food.
Came here for my birthday dinner with my parents. We ordered the calamari & burrata for our appetizers and they were delicious. My parents both ordered the chicken parm and said it was probably the best they’ve had. I ordered the chicken francese which was also delicious & full of flavor. Our waitress was great & very friendly. The owner also came over to check in on how our dinner was. Overall great food and service! Will definitely be back & recommending to friends!
You can feel the freshness of the food. We had to have Italian food with Cannolis when visiting MA. This place hit all the spots.
I wasn't overly impressed - the flavor of the food was good, but the veal was a bit tough and the breading kept shredding off the meat while cutting. The tables were much too close together. You felt like you were eating on top of other people.
The prices seemed higher than what should be the case for a neighborhood Italian joint with paper tablecloths and fairly small portions.
I don't think I'd go back.
We are regular visitors to Café Assisi, because every visit is excellent, in every way. The food is delicious - tonight we had chicken sorrentino and a shrimp special and enjoyed every bite. Our cocktails were perfect too, and one of our favorite servers, Sylvia, knew just what we would want before we even ordered. It’s nice to visit a restaurant where the quality and service are both above and beyond, every time. Yum.

Food was blend. I ordered the only vegetarian item on the menu, took a few bites and done. Staff was nice enough . It was my second visit and will probably be the last.

Had dinner with work colleagues and their spouses. The atmosphere was great and I like well lit restaurant. I tried the veal marsala which was very good. The ir bread with olive oil dipping sauce is some of the best Ive had anywhere.

Far too much sauce on the pasta. It's dropping off every bite.
