Pick the 2 meat platter that they have, One was half a chicken, the other was beef brisket. You get two sides, so I got the baked Cowboy beans which are absolutely fabulous. And I also got the sweet potato french fries, which were delicious. Comes with a big tasty square of cornbread.

Thirsty and in need of smoked meats, I and 5 others happened to have been in the Wrentham area...one a BBQ fanatic insisted we try Commonwealth BBQ. First there was a fair amount of parking, but it was 2ish in the afternoon, the lot was pretty full but able to accommodate 4 cars. This is an outdoors dining experience. We lined up at the windows to order. We all were very thirsty. I had 2 Peach Peace Teas. The fellows had: 2 Frescas, two diet cakes, a water, and a grape Fanta. I waited about 10ish minutes for my food. Everything came nicely packaged. Oh the order...right. I ordered fried pickles (regular or large). I ordered a regular, it was massive. The pickles are lightly battered. The pickles are really great pickles. I also ordered for sharing: pork belly. It came with black beans and rice. Commonwealth offers a mixture of BBQ sauce...They smack to use a hep term...It is outrageously good. I also ordered a 2 meat platter with 2 sides and the meal came with corn bread. I had brisket, sausage, mac n cheese, and cowboy beans. The cowboys were spicy but really good!!! (A). The mac n cheese consisted of a light cheese sauce (A). The sausage was really nicely Spiced and amazing in the BBQ dipping sauces, I recommend the Lee's sauce. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the brisket. It had a nice smoked taste, but it was dry and a little hard. The sauce fixed it, but it was a solid B. I am tempted to go back another day to see if it was just that piece...however as I am writing this piece, my friend the Dr. of Taco, the fanatic called to discuss our late lunch. He asked me if I had a dried up experience...alas so had he. Again we both agreed maybe it was that cut...because everything else was very very good. My overall is A-. The servers and I hardly interacted just do it being a busy place and the ordering style. The picnic tables were okay but few. The get your own sauce was amazing. I am about to pig out on a few left overs...Til next time Commonwealth BBQ

Best burrito of my life! The further south burrito with chicken. Cucumber salad for a side. The sweet potato fries are incredible. The burrito was well constructed with a flakey grilled wrap. Shall be back to try more!

Place looks cool from the outside but not at all worth it. 23 dollars for microwave dried mac n cheese flavorless Cole slaw literally 0 seasoning and over cooked brisket. I went later in the day so maybe go earlier for freshest food but plate had minimum to no effort put into it. Cornbread was pretty good certainly above average everything else left a lot to be desired. If you’re looking for high level bbq this will likely be a disappointing experience.

I love the food here just wish there were some indoor seating. The brisket chilli is delicious and I had a stuffed jalapeno that was awesome.

Great local bbq spot, I have yet to find a brisket better anywhere else. Such a great local hidden gem just a little jaunt of 495, and the service is fast and super easy to grab take out when my family is pressed for time.

My wife and I found this location on a random road trip , we now go back regularly, is it fancy…no , but they more than make up for it with quality food, and IMO great portion size for the money, we’ve never been disappointed. Get there , try it , you’ll see.

Just picked up the Pulled pork sandwich with side of Mac n cheese I got my slaw on the side and yum yum! The slaw even had watermelon radishes in it. We also got extra corn bread, for later. Thumbs up!!!

Happy I finally got here. Got the Single Platter with brisket, collard greens, and sweet potato fries. Cornbread was included. Very good. Doesn't look like much but I was full halfway through. One thing: surcharge for card transactions.

Google isn't quite clear on how you get there either so be careful.

I spend 29 dollars for fatty ribs that they don’t cut for you. Don’t come here this food is terrible this is the proof I left the plate for them to come clean up there food it belongs in the trash.
