Food: average pub food would describe it well. You come here knowing what you're going to get, but what I had didn't stand out as being amazing. Pretty average food but the prices reflected that, so I'm ok with it. Not everything has to be fancy.

Service: there was one waitress for the whole place. I don't blame the waitress, and I'll chalk it up to maybe going at a bad time where they needed more help. Not sure, but it felt like I was forgotten for most of the night.

Atmosphere: fun atmosphere. Has the dark wood Irish bar feel with no windows. It fits the bill for the pub style, but they also have an outdoor area in times of nice weather. I was glad that they didn't have music blasting like they do at sports bars.

Overall, might not come again unless I happen to be in the area and craving pub food

Decided to got to Red Rooster for a few beers and pizza. Decided on some wings, which were good. Then put in our order for a pizza and it took forever for it to come out. Once it came out it was BURNT, no excuse it was BURNT. Called Lenny over and showed him and his head dropped, he knew it was burnt and asked if we wanted a retire, we said NO, Never again……

Not very impressed walked in no one to greet you. I have no idea if it’s supposed to give your name or check in.

There was a slight mistake in the kitchen and our order didn’t get put in but both the waitress and owner handled the situation very well and were so gracious, definitely coming back again! The drinks we had were extremely fresh and cold

*HIDDEN GEM ALERT* I’m in the area on business. Very close to Gillette Stadium. Naturally my attempt to find food options on Google Maps led me to believe that “Patriot Place” was really the only option for food around here with the exception of a decent looking Irish Pub. I decided to expand the map to see if I could find anything else, and man I’m glad I did! A mere 2 minutes drive further from Patriot Place you’ll likely almost miss and drive by the Red Rooster. I came into a packed house at 5 on a Tuesday, but alas, 1 bar seat remaining. Enough draft beers to be considered reasonable, but most importantly, they had a great rotating local draft or 2 as well. Scored a great double IPA! The food selection is that of a bar/grill/pub. However, it’s all fresh, it’s all made here, and it is absolutely delicious!!! I ordered to Burger of the Week which including their house bacon onion jam, enough said! To think I almost ended up a a burger chain tonight! I came back the next day due to the need for confirmation of its quality, but also to try something else. The other picture shows my mostly eaten Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with house salad. The sandwich, made fresh in house, was exactly what I was looking for… but the salad, with house made mustard vinaigrette, and house made croutons, was truly a touchdown!!! Can’t speak too much for service on night one as it was jammed, but they handled everything very well. However the second night, the 3 I saw in the front were all smiles (despite not being as busy as they would want). They all engaged in friendly conversation, and the glasses on two of them made for some additional light humor. All in all, I’ll be back here in October and will be eager to visit again with more people this time!

Hidden gem. Its rep as a dive bar has followed it since the early days but it is far from it now. Excellent food with great pizza.
