This is not so much a review. I was wondering if anybody knows how to get hold of the owner since they closed so abruptly. I was wondering if I could possibly get her blueberry scone recipe. I tried a couple of times this summer to get them. Thinking that she was going to open unfortunately that's not the case and I'm going to miss these blueberry scones. I would bring home a couple of dozen frozen ones every summer to have on hand. I cannot find any like hers. Even when I try to make them myself. I would never ask if the business was still open. If anybody knows how to get in touch with her please let me know. If you see this Kerry I would appreciate it.

Ive been coming to Great island bakery since I was 6(I'm now in my mid 20s) Its always felt like home. I also worked her for 4 summers. The food is amazing. Breakfast sandwiches, jelly donuts and the CINNAMON ROLLS, don't get me started. I am sad to hear that it is closed for good. It has and always will have a close place in my heart. Nothing will every compare to this place

I’ve been going here since I was little - best bakery ever. Everything is fresh, delicious, and the prices are outstanding.

What's Happened to this bakery? Stopped by on Sunday for some cinnamon buns and was surprised at how sparse the inventory was. Cases used to be filled with all sorts of breads and other good stuff. Have not seen Carie (the owner) there in quite some time. Was such a disappointing visit and time to find another bakery.

Great Island Bakery should be famous! Everything from scratch, always delicious. Made with care so output is limited - visit early and often. Simply the BEST place on the Cape for baked goods like danishes, scones, muffins, cinnamon rolls and elephant ears.

Awesome bakery. I am partial to the scones. Although, everything is delicious and made from scratch.

Good baked goods, but limited options and quantities. Would benefit from more and better coffee options too

Family-run bakery with a lot of heart near the beach in S. Yarmouth. Menu needs some updating; food would be familiar to your grandmother, but is a bit too simple & sweet for this reviewer.

Food was fantastic but the older woman had a pretty poor attitude
Simple bakery offerings; very tasty. Breakfast sandwiches on English muffin only. I was expecting a couple of additional options. Also, no bagels....

I own a cottage about 4 blocks away. It is part vacation spot, part airbnb. I love getting breakfast here and many of our guests have said the same. Fresh handmade on-site and very tasty. Warning this cash or check only.

Sadly was late i. Day so the selection was limited. Bought cookies and scones. Both delish. Staff was attentive and helpful.

We accidently arrived here as we took a wrong street and came upon this bakery. So yummy. We had a sticky bun and cinnamon rolls. So good.

We went here on a Tuesday late-morning. I was worried about the shelves being cleaned out but they still had a good selection. We were lucky enough to get an apple turnover fresh out of the oven, and it was divine. The shell was flaky and crispy. Delicious. My daughter had the plain donut and liked it. My husband had the blueberry muffin, but he didn't comment. I am assuming it was good! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
