Hearth 'n Kettle Yarmouth

The worst service ever ! Not like years ago . Really awful 2 hours just to get a glass of water . I was with a group . I would gave left much earlier if without group !

This used to be a great place to bring a family but no more. The menu has changed dramatically and service is poor. Been sitting for thirty minutes waiting for salad and sandwich. Now it’s the Mini Mart of restaurants, don’t bother!

My family has been eating at this Hearth & Kettle for the past 30 years. I would have stood on a soap box and praised their clam chowder to the world- but no longer. The chowder sucked, and tasted like a kettle of potato soup. The Yankee Pot Roast was so dry I almost broke a tooth. After complaining, we learned that the restaurant had been sold and multiple people complain. Our friend, who resides in the area, said very few of the old customers eat there now. We are among them that don’t!!! I must compliment our server, Amy, who took our complaint’s seriously - but still charged us for the chowder. Good thing they can’t ruin the soda!

I was very disapponted.when we drove up there was only two cars in the parking lot Haven't been there for more than 10 years thinking the food improved well folks it did not.The chowder was tasty but could not find a clam.the sweet potatoes fries had a after taste of bleach the turkey dinner was a joke.i will never recommend this place even if was starving

I ordered chicken pot pie....it was cold and I sent it back! Next I ordered pulled pork sandwich....it was the poorest excuse for pulled pork I've ever had.....disgusting!

Bacon must have been yesterday’s. Burnt and dry. Home fries weren’t much better. Used to be very good but we won’t be back in the future.

This place was delicious. We loved it and are very happy it’s still as good as it ever has been. We have been fans for years. Our server, Sarah, was absolutely AMAZING. We can’t wait to come back and will definitely ask for her.

The seafood was excellent and very fresh and flavorful. The drinks were also very tasty.

This is a family favorite from when our kids were small. They still want to eat breakfast here.

I noticed the portions are smaller these days, but the price is fair for what you get. It's still enough to fill up most folks, but you probably won't leave with a box of leftovers the way we always did in the past.

Decent value for your money and affordable if you have multiple mouths to feed.

Great breakfast! I had the pesto/avocado/feta cheese omelette. It was delicious! The service was amazing and all staff members were so friendly. I will definitely return.

Vent session: When you go out for breakfast and there’s only one other customer at 7:15am & your food comes to table cold….toast, toasted only on one side w a spot of melted butter in center. Home fries? Sausage? Why not brown them a little? I usually suck it up, however, there’s just no way I’m paying $15.99 (for a doggie bag) when there’s ZERO excuse. Server wasn’t the problem so she wasn’t affected, the cook 🧑‍🍳 ?? 🤷 Anyway…. Do better Hearth n Kettle, South Yarmouth. So disappointed…

Used to come here all the time as a kid, as an adult I decided to give it a try. Food came out cold, definitely premade and microwaved to serve. It came out extremely quick after we ordered. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Waitress was peach and manager was extremely understanding and comped the meal.

One word… filthy… the food was the worst sort of salty and low quality… the service was well intended but just terrible… and the whole restaurant was filthy. The gas station up the street was cleaner

Have not been here in years, We were sat without a wait. and orders were taken. Got a draft bud light that tasted funny. Food service was very slow for a restaurant that was not busy. We orders and waited 50 min. for 3 meals. I had noticed a couple that was sat 15 min after us got there food in 20 min. they were done eating by time our food came out. after 45 min they told us that they were out of one of the sides and our food showed up 5 min later before the person picked a new side. Had to wait another 5 min for ketchup. My beer was empty never asked if we needed anymore drinks. The did bring a small ice cream for one of our party birthday. Server was nice but seemed new. I feel 50 min for a salad, turkey club and a scrod dinner was a long wait. then get the bill and I was charged 9.75 for a regular bar draft glass of bud light. Not sure what kitchen staff were doing but they failed. 3 stars. If other party's were waiting as long i would get it but two other party's got food before us and sat long after us.
