Well let me start by saying that the owner is absolutely rude and very abrasive. We wanted the blinds up by our table and he refused to put them up so it was so dark in there. Then the calamari was dripping with oil it was disgusting and then to boot the chicken wasn't cooked fully and part raw and another oily dish too. We were so disgusted we paid and walked out! Please don't waste your money there. Go to places where the owner isn't who he is! Go to people restaurants with class . This a complete mistake sham on them for operating like that

We live close by and have tried this establishment 5 times over last six years. Very mixed experiences. Tonight was first time in two years. While the staff is pleasant and attentive, this is without a doubt the worst Italian food on the Cape. I had a Veal Parm that tasted like a dirty oven accompanied by under cooked penne pasta, my wife did not enjoy her Elmers Glue cheese raviolis, with a sauce that was on par with canned Ragu … meatballs ok and the bread pretty good but not worth the time. Find another place and their are a few better options close by!

I can’t say enough about this place I visit the Cape about six times a year and I stop by for dinner every time. I haven’t had a bad meal once and I am treated like royalty personally by the owner a bit pricey, but well worth it after the meal, you get a complementary homemade Lemoncello shot.

This is a hidden gem on the Northside in Yarmouthport. We have gone for the past 8 summers. The setting is great overlooking the golf course. The menu items are consistently good. The Cioppino is for a special night - lobster, shell fish with linguini. Bar selections are very good. The waitstaff includes several young men and women from central Europe. All of them are so courteous and accomodating. Finally, the prices are very reasonable. Excellent value.

Have gone to this restaurant several times and always had a good experience. However, the last two times we DoorDashed and the food was very different ordered eggplant Parmesan and it came with no breading on it basically sliced from the stock and just a little sauce and cheese put on it when I called and spoke to the manager, he said he could do nothing but re-cook it and we could come and pick it up. The reason we did DoorDash is we were not available to pick up we asked if he could just leave a gift certificate or something at the front desk, and we could have it remade another night, and he refused will not be going back.

It was time for another visit to Il Montebello in the King's Way neighborhood. We opted for a table in the bar area rather than the formal dining room. We were promptly seated, served ice water and warm bread with a dipping oil. My wife ordered Risotto Trezo Mare, which is a risotto that is mixed with a brandy cream sauce, lobster, scallops and shrimp. She loved it. I tasted the risotto and thought it was excellent. I ordered Swordfish Piccata. Swordfish, with lemon and capers. I opted for linguini as a side rather than a vegetable. It was delicious. Just the right amount of lemon and capers. Our food was delivered timely and hot. Not normally ordering dessert, I shared a piece of carrot cake with my wife. It was delicious. Our server, Gabriela, was friendly and attentive. Items here can appear to be a bit pricey, but after Covid, we have noticed almost everything has become pricey. We appreciated the whole dining experience here.

One of our favorite places. Food is always wonderful. Our server, Nicholas, was outstanding. We had a party of 13. He set up the table so that everyone could see and talk to each other .No small feat. He never missed a detail.

I’m convinced they don’t make your food until you arrive to pick it up. If you call in food, once you arrive you typically wait 20+ minutes.

The bartender was awesome, just the right amount of chatty without being intrusive. He mixed an excellent martini. The olives for the martini are something else though. Not sure how they source such unappealing piece of mush. They look ok, but there is no brine, no taste and no structure. They are so bad, that its almost interesting. We had a martini there last year, same issue but thought we'll give them another chance. Maybe they'll run out of this batch and have some new ones next year?

Inside, outside the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Chicken Parmesan so-o-oGood! Linguini & Clam Sauce, Chicken Napolitano and Chicken Picatta 2nd best. Our server was attentive but not overbearing or rushing us. I will be back!

What happened to the wood fired pizza? It used to be so good! Now it tastes like a box of generic pizza from the grocery store. Bring back the good stuff! Disappointed tonight. Service was great which used to be a bit of a problem and the restaurant is lovely. Stuffed clams and other apps were delicious!
