While this place is genuinely Japanese (unlike most). The sushi was very good. The appetizers were good, but the non sushi menu was in-inspiring and small Prices were quite high

Enjoyed a delightful meal this evening, however the sushi/sashimi dinner portions were very small for the price. The eggplant appetizer was mouth watering delicious. The salad was very difficult to eat in the bowl it was presented in, so I moved it to a plate in order to eat it . Very nice casual atmosphere. Unfortunately th bathrooms were "out of service". Th air conditioning made it very comfortable.

Some of the best sushi I have ever had. Highly recommend the eggplant misoyaki, the toro dragon or double dragon rolls. Not great for young children as they don't have many toddler friendly items so be sure to pack their own meal and milk. Hard to get a seat if you don't have a reservation and reservations go quick.
Toro Toro Toro Toro!!! They do Toro soooo very well here. I love Toro. Get their melt-in-your-mouth Toro. All of their rolls also tasted exquisite and the quality of their fish is top shelf. This restaurant was the most authentically decorated Japanese sushi restaurant I've ever been in. Their effort in transporting you and your taste buds to Japan is exemplary. Go here and treat yo self —and get you some Toro.
We have eaten here regularly in the last 15 years of visiting the Cape. We love sushi and have enjoyed the food here. This year, both the salmon and hamachi did not taste fresh at all and other ingredients were subpar as well (ginger was old, wasabi lacked any flavor, etc). Unfortunate for a place that has always been very good.

About as close to Tokyo as you might find on the Cape. One minus, though ... the Sake is served COLD !Recommend making a reservation as the restaurant was quite busy when we were there for dinner mid-week.
