Usually a great spot but whoever was cooking today sent out a half cooked Monte Cristo. Only one side of the french toast was cooked, the inside was a wet raw egg with cinnamon dipped side of bread. They also forgot the turkey and I was at a loss with the server and his explanation, I assumed they would take it off the bill as I was only able to eat a few bites. He explaind I ate more than half because I pulled the hand out and put it into the cooked popover. I’ll go back because it is usually a great spot but buyer beware

Stopped for breakfast our last day of vacation. So glad we did! Great service, and we both loved our food. Took some popovers to go and they were wonderful. Would absolutely come back if we visit the area again 🙂

First, this place is great. Very local, hometown family owned place. Love that. Food is good and we go often. The lemon poppy French toast is awesome!! An the home fries! yum.
Only bad I have to say is for the owner and not meant to diss the restaurant. (So please dont let this stop you from going, it really a cool place).
So...This last time we went (10/4/25) the server was so unfriendly and un attentive that I really want you to know. While we love Jack's and will always come, know that this server should be let go and in no way represents your restaurants great experience level we've known. Her name is Leanne. She needs to be trained in how to be an attentive, kind and friendly person. I watched her and she was the same with all her tables. Not good for your business. Hope this helps you. Deceptive practice of stating 3 items for omelet. Cheese gets $2 up charge. Really? One slice. Look at notification at end. Large and delicious popovers. Big mugs for coffee. Home fries were not well done which we both asked for.

Classic Egg Benedicts. Food came barely warm. The english muffin was just taken at room temperature. Only I egg which appeared as 2 on each half of a soggy english muffin with hollandaise sauce. Wet bread is soggy. The canadian bacon was undercooked. I never send anything back until now. Our server was concerned to correct my meal.They toasted a new muffin and cooked the canadian bacon more but you only get 1 egg. The other 4 people with me were more satisfied with french toast. I wish the new owners the best.
