The Skipper Restaurant and Chowder House

Took some friends to Skipper, and Amanda was our server, so friendly, helpful and unobstrusive... two of us had the fish tacos (huge, fresh and deliciously garnished), one had salad, also huge, fresh, and delicious. I had the baked Chatham scrod with mixed vegetables, and a side of al dente broccoli instead of the mashed potatoes. ( my husband had the mashed potatoes, and I got two bites...so good!!) The view of the ocean so close is a plus on top of excellent quisine.

Just excellent. Did not disappoint. Really really happy with this place. And we were really dissatisfied with some of our restaurant choices while visiting the cape. I’m from the cape originally and this place gets five stars. Clam batter is perfect and they were not overcooked. Clam chowder was excellent so was the sundae they offered for five dollars. We were there the night before they closed for the season our waitress was also amazing. We won’t be wasting our time at other places next time.

Nothing special here. Typical drive in fare; order at the window; find a table. Nice to be able to see the harbor. The onion rings were so-so.

Great lunch and service from Andrada! We definitely will be back. Took extra care to ask about food allergies and being a parent of a child with a tree nut allergy, I was very impressed.

Love this place. We are here for our honeymoon and on the hunt for oysters. So far we have been here twice during our trip. Tonight, Andrada was our waitress and she was outstanding! They were out of oysters but she had just enough “little legs” left for us that gave us our fix. She was extremely sweet and gave great menu recommendations. If we go back I hope we get her again! 10/10 recommend this restaurant.
