Overrated chowder house and seafood restaurant, its a long wait for 1hour to be seated, travel for 45-1hr drive just to experience and eat food that is not even worth a money… we ordered ravioli lobster, fish and chips, house burger. Service is ok, crew and hostess is very nice.. thats it… expensive restaurant and to much overrated 😠🙁😡
Great views, Great Service, Great Drinks and the #1 reason to visit is for the best Clam Chowder anywhere. Winners of the best of Cape Cod, Boston and Newport competitions for their chowder. Lobster Roll ($45) was a goodie. Onion Rings are awesome too,
The absolute best clam chowder I've ever had!!!!!

We ate at the bar and we're lucky enough to get a seat right away. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was wonderful. Just a really fun experience. A service was great too.

Their clam chowder is indeed a killer.
The fried clam chowder however, is not. It's nothing more than deep fried meshed potato with a couple of clam pieces mixed in. Not worth the price.

Service was great. Food was delicious. Good portions. View was nice beach right across the street. Highly recommend..
I feel like this place is pretty much just for tourists. Lots of flour lumps in the clam chowder and it was thick enough to stand up on its own. The lobster was meh and the corn was shriveled and somehow still water-logged.

I live in Boston and this is hands down some of the best clam chowder I've had! Perfect consistency, great flavor, and lots of clams. Neve was a wonderful server and so helpful. Cute atmosphere with lots of seating both upstairs and down. The ahi wonton nachos were very different, creative, and yummy. A quintessential New England/Cape Cod restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Our group of 14 had a great lunch at Skipper’s. I called 30 minutes before to be sure they could accommodate us. Upon arrival, they had a table set for us in a smaller dining room. The setting, food and service were all excellent. We had lobster rolls, whole belly clams, clam chowder, fish and chips, whole lobster and more. Even though we were all full, some of our group had to get ice cream for dessert. Everyone loved the food. My brother and I are lobster rolls connoisseurs. These were some of the best I have had. Our server, Ashley, was fantastic. She was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Another male server was helping our table also. One of our party has celiac and he was able to tell him everything on the menu that was gluten free. Kudos to management and staff for running a first-class restaurant.
Our party of 5 had Yellowfin Tuna, Lobster Mac & Cheese and Baked Scallops. All were excellent, very tasty, and reasonably priced, as usual!
My husband recommended this place to me after he and his golf pals went down in late May for a golf trip. AMAZING. The drinks, apps (steamers were 10/10), and dinner was delicious. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were outstanding. STEVE, can’t thank you enough for your customer service. Very professional and friendly at the same time. Definitely will be coming back for the season opener next year!
