Ordered lobster frites with “ hot drawn butter”. It came in a lobster bisque. The waitress argued that it was hot drawn butter. Ordered salad with chicken. The salad was put on a hot plate and was limp and soggy. Again an excuse was given. We asked to speak with a manager and waited 20 minutes then paid and left. Will never return.

We did not eat here but all the food looked great with generous portions The comedy show had 4 comedians!!! Tom Cotter the headliner was great! Nice atmosphere and drinks reasonable. We will definitely go again.

We (wife and I and two children) called ahead for take out. They originally set the expectation of a 10 minute pick up wait which turned into an additional 10 once we arrived which we didn’t even bat an eye at since 10 minutes seemed super quick for our order anyway. My first thought when picking up was how fun the interior was with their ship themed interior. We received our food and were on our way. Got back home and realized they never packed our crab cakes. Not awesome, but it can happen anywhere you order out from and I should have checked the bag before leaving. I called to let them know it wasn’t in the bag and they said “no problem, we will have them ready in 5-6 minutes”. No apology. Whatever, I just want the food I paid for. It took me about 10 minutes to get back to the restaurant, so not the end of the world, but then they tried to charge us for the crab cakes because “it wasn’t rung up”. They read our order back to us when we ordered and 100 percent read back the order correctly including the crab cakes. I basically told her how crappy it was that they were trying to charge me for their mistake and that I had to drive back while missing dinner with my family, for my portion of the dinner we ordered. In the end, she went back and talked with the manager and I wasn’t charged.
Overall the food was mediocre for the price, and service matched that as well.
The only thing saving this from being a 1 star review was that they did the right thing in the end.

We had an amazing experience at Skippy's. Food was amazing and so was the service. We sat outside it was a beautiful night sitting out by the boat dock. Hidden gem and we will definitely be back!

Clean. Well appointed surroundings. Excellent, friendly service. BangBang shrimp were golden brown, crispy on the outside, tender (not overcooked or rubbery, slightly less than “C” shaped, which is impressive for fried shrimp) and the sauce was clearly scratch and of perfect consistency to avoid making the fry-crumb soggy. It was some of the best I’ve ever had.
