Overall very good, very nice place, food was solid nothing was amazing but nothing short of very good either. Portions were generous and service was very good. Nothing to complain about at all. Pricing on par with this level of restaurant.

Wonderful experience. Good size excellent cocktail s to start followed by rolls with delicious dipping oil. My swordfish was large and prepared just as I like it. My husband's prime rib was wonderful as well.

Got there for the Sunset special which included appetizers and desserts. Got a lot of mediocre food. Nothing seems “special” or high quality unfortunately. Shrimp cocktail was very good. Caesar salad - heavily dressed but good. Bread and oil the highlight of the meal! So good! I got Filet Minion - steak was cooked well, risotto was gummy, asparagus was good. Shepards pie - okay. Lots of it. Apple crisp - came cold with ice cream. didn't eat even 1/2. blah. Baklava looks promising took it to go. Waiter had no time for us for the most part. Everything just seemed rushed and tired. Oh and totally decked out in Halloween - too early. So if you want lots of mediocre food - this is your place!

Filet mignon was cooked great and it was delicious, so it was mushroom risotto. The lobster was just okay, a bit too chewy. Wine was great, we also enjoyed the grilled octopus, though it wasn't tender enough. Service was just okay, I missed a smile and engagement, maybe expecting too much?

My dinner was delicious as way as dessert. And dessert was also amzing. Great to see that this place is still a great place to go after all these years of being in business. We also enjoyed talking with our waitress who was outbeat and fun and very attentive to taking care of us!

Was sat right away but waited forever for our cocktails. Server brought over dipping oil but no bread for about 15 minutes. Never cleared the table before he placed the bill down. Food was mediocre, my fish was not hot but was afraid if I sent it back I would have waited another 20 minutes. Server was definitely not trained very well. It was busy, but not crazy busy so no real excuse for such poor service

Food is always good. Service was poor this time, but we will return as always. But we will not be seated with Nicolas. He was disappointing at best. No communication. Dropped off my wife's appetizer and not mind, not a word. Came back 10 minutes later with my app, not a word. Forgot the bread. Delivered meals correctly, never came back to ask how everything was, thankfully it was delicious as usual. Had to flag him down for another beverage. Again, place and food are worth it, but this waiter needs to improve. Unrelated he delivered the wrong checks to to other tables, oh boy.

The welcoming staff and the great service is a great addition to the delicious food! My family and I had seafood and it was one of the most tasty meals, old fashioned baked cod with lobster sauce was particularly good! The ambiance and the delicious food and great service of waitress who even spoke a few expressions of our language (very impressive) made our experience delightful! We will be back! Strongly recommend Yarmouth House Restaurant!
Reservation cancelled by the restauranr 15 minutes upfront due to “mechanical issues”. Not easy to find another restaurant on such a short notice for 5 people! Luckily, Spanky's Clam Shack was a great alternative and the lobster was delicious!

We were there for Greek night - the musician was great, but it definitely was louder than we would've preferred, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our time there!
