Easter dinner was fabulous! Food was hot and plentiful. No one at my table was able to finish their plate. Guaranteed not to leave hungry if you visit The Yarmouth House. Steak n cheese egg rolls are a must!!!!!!!

The bread and oil was delicious. Warm fresh bread the oil had fresh garlic and herbs. Fish and Chips were very good. The shrimp scampi over linguine, the pasta was bland and overcooked. The shrimp were huge and overcooked.

One of my favorite places on the Cape. Have never been disappointed with a meal here?

Food average Service was very good. Price is average. One problem on this evening was that the hot food was served almost at room temperature. This is the second time in a row that this has happened. We are thinking about not trying this place again.

Nine years ago, my spouse treated me to a romantic evening out for dinner at the Yarmouth House. We had such a lovely time here.I'll never forget sitting with him in the front window by the mill wheel in dim lighting while sipping wine and eating chicken kabobs, hoping one day to have this experience again.I can gladly say that even though time has passed since our first dining experience here and prices have increased over the years, understandably, of course. But even so, not all has changed, thankfully. The traditional cozy rustic ambiance has remained the same, and the service is still as pleasantly elegant as I remember. We were very pleased with our chosen meals, the fish and chips, and the squash chicken ravioli. The portions were very generous in size, so plentiful it took me a long time to polish through it all. I'm sure my server may have reservations of me being one of the slowest eaters he's ever witnessed. But I didn't waste a bite! ?My meal was too delicious not to finish even at a snails pace. Haha!

Best food and service we've had in the Cape. Come for the lobster, stay for the drinks and jazz.

Celebrated my mother's 83rd birthday here last night with my sister on a not crowded early weeknight. We were disappointed to wait over 30 minutes without a server greeting us at all. (several tables with people seated after us received immediate very attentive service). I finally had to get up and ask the host if he could send someone over - he was very apologetic and once we were acknowledged the service was wonderful. The only other note was that my mother ordered the “Old School Baked Stuffed Lobster”. When it was brought out, the waiter said it was not available so instead they substituted the plain Baked Haddock on the menu and added a half lobster. My mother said that was fine. We were a bit surprised to see that they charged an extra $16 on the bill for the lobster as she was not given a choice or told up front that what she ordered was not available. * The waiter did tell my mother should could choose any dessert on the menu for her birthday (instead of the Sunset Dinner choices) and that was discounted from the bill - not sure if that is standard practice but was a nice touch. Overall, meal was good but strange overall experience.

We always enjoy dining at Yarmouth House. However, last night it took our waiter a few extra minutes to bring rolls (which was fine, he was busy) but our dinner arrived before we were done enjoying our cocktail or eating our rolls. So our glasses of wine arrived 5 minutes after our entree. This has happened a couple of times when they're not busy so we would recommend asking them to slow food service down at least on nights when the restaurant is quiet.

We had gone to the Cape Symphony and it was an awesome show, we went to the Yarmouth House after and the service was great, our server was wonderful and attentive. The food was outstanding, we got there before 5:45 so we also were able to get the Sunset specials, we had an awesome time, never felt rushed. Thank you for an excellent evening!!

We had an excellent meal, however we ate in the main dinning room where the band was so loud we could not hear each other to talk. Would suggest sitting in another room if you have a group.

Our waiter Nick was very good! We had just booked at 3 to get a few of us together...didn't realize it was early bird special time...well the food was incredible the service was impeccable and informative. I had requested being by the water wheel and the request was honored. 20 out of 10!!! All categories!!!! Best Jason

The food was delicious. This was a special occasion. There seemed to be a mixup with our reservation and we were seated 55 minutes after our reservation time. People with the same party size of 3, who came in well after us, were seated ahead of us. Once we were seated all went well. Our server was friendly and helped make it an enjoyable evening.
