Breakfast was really good. It seemed like they had farmers eggs. That was super nice. Support your local business.

What a tremendous surprise! After 10 days on the road—ten days, folks—I land in Altona, Manitoba, and discover Oma’s Kitchen. Let me tell you, I’ve had food all over the world, but this? This was next level. The perogies were like clouds, the sausage was out of this world, and the kielke? Absolutely incredible. If I lived in Altona, I’d buy Oma’s Kitchen, franchise it coast to coast, and take it public. That’s how good it is. A total hidden gem—Oma’s Kitchen is a winner!

Food took about 40 minutes to arrive for a table of 5, and the restaurant was not busy. Cold breakfast order and when we told the server, they microwaved it and now the eggs were rubbery and overcooked. Server was new and she did not know the menu at all. My order was not what I expected it to be either.
Best thing was their coffee.

This is a staple of Altona Manitoba mostly we had breakfast there but they also have an option for specials including half a sandwich with soup a pudding and a drink for like $12 bacon sausage or ham with eggs with hash browns and toast 10.99! Nice homemade authentic soups and great service

Great food I'm gluten free so they were accommodating they gave me extra hash browns instead of toast.

Wow, tasteless, bland, uninspired food. The cook didn't even try to make the food look good , let alone taste palatable. The chicken noodle soup was a bowl full of noodles in a gray colored liquid, no vegetables, no chicken, no taste. Terrible perogie, noodle and meat plate. I can not believe food can be so unappealing. The only good thing I had was my cup of tea, with an extra little pot of water. We will not go to this restaurant again...ever.
