What a tremendous surprise! After 10 days on the road—ten days, folks—I land in Altona, Manitoba, and discover Oma’s Kitchen. Let me tell you, I’ve had food all over the world, but this? This was next level. The perogies were like clouds, the sausage was out of this world, and the kielke? Absolutely incredible. If I lived in Altona, I’d buy Oma’s Kitchen, franchise it coast to coast, and take it public. That’s how good it is. A total hidden gem—Oma’s Kitchen...
This is a staple of Altona Manitoba mostly we had breakfast there but they also have an option for specials including half a sandwich with soup a pudding and a drink for like $12 bacon sausage or ham with eggs with hash browns and toast 10.99! Nice homemade authentic soups and great service
Food was amazing ..only a few complaints, my salad was tiny barely anything on it ,portions are way to small for cost of meal..please consider larger portions ..waitresses don't come ask if we need anything else..
